One of the best whale watching tours I have ever been on!

Can highly recommend hopping on a boat during a heatwave to cool down!! On our incredible Zodiac tour we were lucky enough to spot (and smell) humpback whales, TWO transient orca pods, a floating napping sealion(!!) and of course the beautiful natural scenery. Jen is a very experienced, knowledgeable and respectful guide. She is also clearly passionate about the well-being of these beautiful sea-creatures, being mindful of their space and future. We were impressed to hear that part the fee went towards community projects on Quadra Island that help to restore and maintain ecological integrity. All of her gear is in great condition (loved the cosy brand new floater suits) and we felt very safe and well looked after. Thanks for a great morning on the water AND for the homemade cookies and lemonade! A perfect birthday treat :)

Reminder why its called "Beautiful British Columbia"
Great way to see lots of what beautiful BC has to offer. We are from BC, but made the trip to the island to show the kids what the ocean has to offer. We often take for granted what a beautiful enjoinment we live in & this totally reminded me of why I love living here. There were 4 of us (including my 8 & 12 yr old) The boat was very nice, he had life jackets/warm full body red life suits. I had prepared the kids that there is a chance we might not even get to see anything because we are in the wilderness & have no control of the weather or what the animals. We were so very lucky that we got to see Killer Whales, Pacific White Sided Dolphins, Dall's Porpoises, Sea Lions & Hump Back Whales. I think everyone's favorite was the pod Dolphins. There were a bunch of them, that came right up close & swam around & under the boat. The Humpback Whale sighting was really neat too, because it was jumping up & out of the water & making huge splashes (which the guide said you don't see very often) The Sea Lions, were fishing salmon in the rapids & we got to see one catch one & eat it. The guide was very friendly & knowledgeable. He even provided us with homemade yummy cookies as a snack! All in all, very worth while & we'd do it again!
