-I highly recommend kayaking with Blueway Adventures!
Tuesday: 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM Eco Tours • Fishing Charters & Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
When I called Blueway adventures, I had a dual purpose: I wanted very specifically to visit the graves of my ancestors who are buried on Church Island in the middle of Lake Marion AND I wanted a fun activity for my extended family that would make getting together fun for all ages. Blueway Adventures delivered! When I called, Deb was so helpful and flexible with setting up the tour (and with sharing area historical resources)--perfect since I was organizing the trip for my extended family! Once we were on site, they prepared all of us with both safety and fun in mind. The activity was perfect for novices, seniors, children, and everyone in between. Added perks included lots of information about the habitat, and once on Church Island, Deb pulled out her camera and took a series of pictures so we can always remember our adventure! Now I'm excited to go back and plan another tour! See more..
- 5.0 Aquafun Paddle & Boat Charters (62 reviews)
-Such an AMAZING company!

I absolutely love booking with AquaFun! I booked with them for the first time in 2016 and even to this day they still remain very professional, fun, and reasonably priced. My friends and I went out this past Saturday with Captain Tyler and we all had the times of our lives. Captain Tyler was such a blast and before we ended the tour, we booked again for July! It's that great of a time. What I like the most about these tours is that everything is on our time during the time that we book for. The Captain was super easy going and truly took care of us! All I can say is BOOK! BOOK! BOOK! You WON'T regret it! See more..

- 5.0 Palmetto Indoor Range (58 reviews)
-The Best CCW Class EVER
Tuesday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Shooting Ranges
I have moved around the US and had to take CCW classes in other states. I was dreading another dumb class where the instructor reads from a manual. I was truly surprised! The class Ed Soto teaches was not just interesting, it was riveting as he described various real-life scenarios and questioned the class as to what actions they could/could not take. The answers surprised many of us as Ed relied on his lifetime of experiences to share how to protect oneself and stay out of the criminal justice system. IF you live in the general area and are looking for a CCW class I recommend Ed’s class without reservation. Even if you have to drive a couple of hours the time spent getting there is worthwhile. - 5.0 Twin Falls/Eastatoe Falls (46 reviews)
-Must see attraction!
Waterfalls
Like many other reviewers have mentioned, be prepared for winding roads that continue to narrow into a short one lane road into the woods where you’ll find a small parking lot. That being said, the whole way up to the parking lot is clearly marked and easy to find. There’s a short hike to the falls, slightly inclined but not too bad, easy for even a novice like me! It is a narrow pathway on the edge of a drop off so I would advise parents with small children to keep an eye out. The path to the falls is beautiful with lots of places to stop and check out the creek and even get in for a cool dip. Once at the top, the view opens up to the two waterfalls and boy is it spectacular! There’s even a covered area with a few benches you can sit on and watch the falls. You can even bring a picnic and find a cozy spot to eat. We have absolutely fallen in love with the area and will be back to visit again! See more..

- 5.0 Mill Town Players (43 reviews)
-Small, intimate theatre
Theatre & Performances
We attended "Of mice and men" at the Pelzer theater. It is a small venue, and while we sat in the middle (Row K, Seat 207), I doubt there is a bad seat in the house. The seats were comfortable and upholstered. There is a large parking lot at the theatre. The Players themselves put on a great performance, the audience was attentive to the play, and there was no whispering or cell phones going off. Afterward the actors came out to the front of the theater. I will certainly return. See more..
- 5.0 Yellow Branch Falls (43 reviews)
-Gorgeous falls
Waterfalls
I’m not sure if there are more trails. Round trip was over miles. Some say it’s only a mile to the falls but we tracked nearly two. Cross the creek about four times. I’d wear boots if it’s rained recently as it was muddy in spots. Some elevation gain. Honestly one of the prettiest waterfall around. See more..

- 5.0 Elloree Heritage Museum & Cultural Center (23 reviews)
-Elloree Heritage Museum is a Most See Attraction
History Museums
We have been to many museums in our life time, and rate the Elloree Heritage Museum at the top of our list. Elloree is a very small town and you can tell by the way this place was put together that the people of this area have a lot of pride in their little community. Beautiful exhibits well designed and with a hand control gives you the history behind each of the displays. This is a cotton farming area and much of the museum is a history of that kind of life style. I did not see once piece in this museum that was missing any part and it really give you the detail on how this equipment was made back in those days. Interestingly, the street that the Museum is on, hasn't changed since the early 1900's. This is really a must see. Stop in at the Visitors Center if your heading south as you cross Lake Marion. Drop in at the visitors center and ask for things to see in the small towns surrounding this Lake. Elloree is a short distance. We were treated very nicely at this visitors center. See more..
