Absolutely love this place! We like a lot of California wines, and really enjoyed the wines here. Loved the fact that they gave you a paper to take notes on, and the tasting fee was extremely reasonable. Not a fan of California Chardonnays, and their Chardonnay was fantastic! They have seven wines you can choose from for wine tasting, with 14 wines total. The grounds are beautiful, wish we had had more time to take a charcuterie platter and a glass of wine to sit outside. If you are in route to or from Charleston, anywhere south of Charleston, and enjoy wine, very highly recommend putting at least an hour aside to enjoy this place.See more..

A gem a little off the beaten path. Wonderful staff made this a VERY fun visit! They have great wines some of which are from locally grown muscadine grapes. The tasting is reasonable wth a beautiful view. We had fun! And we are leaving with a couple of bottles. We love going to Mercer House Winery. It is definitely not your typical winery. All of the wines are unique and they change frequently. We just tried their 2 new flavors, Strawberry Pom moscato, and Cherry pie. Yum! They have wines for every palate. They have dry wines and very sweet wines. They also have some muscadine wines that don't taste like muscadine. Especially their barrel aged Vinum wine. The workers are friendly and very laid back. You may not like every wine, but you will find some that you'll love. I love how adventurous they are with their wine making. I know I can go back a few months later and find some new flavors to try. What a great visit. The process of sampling wines is brilliant. It really allows to taste and revisit your choices as they all arrive at the same time. They are separated so no confusion. The staff were great and the atmosphere was relaxing and no rush was felt to leave. The food options were very good and fresh. And desert was rather tasty ( we had cheese cake). This the one time when all the reds we tried were good and the Merlot was off favorite. The vies is also nice and calming.See more..

We are situated on 3 acres with a 920 square foot tasting room which seats approximately 16 wine lovers. Outside seating can accommodate up to 40 more. Me and my family visited Three Star Vineyard this past weekend. September 19, which was a Saturday. What a pleasant surprise. It was for my 60th Birthday. The staff was very nice and helpful when I called. I was able to reserve a table for out side. We enjoyed the wine tasting, and a live band planed also. I would recommend this winery. It was a nice outing. Only 45 minutes from Augusta Ga. I will definitely come back with friends.See more..
What a wonderful place to stop in an have some wine, relax, do a tasting. It's only about 90 minutes from Myrtle Beach - great day trip - and better than that winery in Little River, SC.
