  5. 4.0 Golf Club at Hilton Head Lakes (53 reviews)
    - Great coure
Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Golf Courses
Golf Club at Hilton Head Lakes image
Pros-Great course, good design, generous fairways, greens in nice shape and roll good, nice sand in traps. Cons-Charged me $70, might be less if SC resident, not sure but it is not a $70 course. I’ll leave my rating at 5, but should put it at 4 for that reason. It’s a very very good $50 course, it’s a not so great $70 one. Other con is the carts, for $70, you get GPS in the cart but not here. Other con, played behind a 3 some that wouldn’t let me through. Course is paved all around. I played blue tees and par 4’s are healthy I’ll play here again but try and find a deal on line. Friendly staff just get your price in line with your value. See more..

Cheraw State Park Golf Course image
We stayed in a cabin in Cheraw state park in S.C. Played golf twice at the park golf course. The pro shop was well stocked and the pro on duty was very friendly and helpful. He explained the course layout and told us about the clubhouse and all of the facilities that we had available to us. Course maintenance crew was very friendly and respectful of the golfer’s on the course. The course was outstanding well kept and not a bare spot on the course. When you rent a cabin at the park green fees with cart only $25.00 !! Super deal!!! The cabins are newly remodeled and are very nice. Quiet place, they have large lake with fishing, canoeing paddle boats also trails and swimming. Downtown was nice very small have some small local shops. The manager Park Ranger Mahoney was very friendly and helpful spoke with him a few times. 4 day stay was the right amount of time for the stay and play golf and explore. See more..
  7. 4.0 Diamondback Golf Course (50 reviews)
    - Excellent course, great value

    Diamondback Golf Course image
We really enjoy this course. It’s a good 25 minute drive from the Arcadian beach area of Myrtle….but worth the drive. It’s usually in great shape, well maintained, range balls included and a great value. The course pro/manager seems to be a pleasant man. The course has a nice challenging layout. The only negative is all the steps you have to climb to get to the clubhouse. While snow birding in Myrtle for two months, we try to play this course regularly. See more..

The Golf Club at Wescott Plantation image
Starting out on our annual golf outing we normally play somewhere enroute. However, the weather prompted us to leave earlier and get closer to Kiawah to play... and allow temps to rise somewhat. Wescott was one of the Charleston courses actually open due to major amounts of rain. The course was very wet and sloppy but playable. Greens were in decent shape. Probably like to give it another shot in better conditions. See more..

    Regent Park Golf Club image
If putting is part of your golf round-find another course to play at! Took my employees here this past Saturday and we were very disappointed. The tee boxes and fairways were nice but almost every green was destroyed. Bare areas (not spots). They neglected to tell us that when we booked our tee time and never mentioned it when we showed up to play. But, they took our $54 per man. Way overpriced. There are many better courses in the area for less money. See more..

Outside of probably needing new sand in the bunkers, course was immaculate. Hopefully the changes in personnel will keep it up and people will support his great course to help keep it that way.
