We had a great time at Cherokee Speedway watching the Lucas Oil series race. We took our 6 year old daughter with us, this was her first big race and she had a blast. Most of the grand stand seating is concrete, so be sure to bring a blanket or cushion to sit on. You are also allowed a small cooler for drinks and snacks. See more..

    - Best Dirt Track in the South

Took the 100 mile ride up to Lancaster Speedway last month. We expected it to be just another dirt track. But we were dead wrong. The racing, atmosphere, and organized method of putting on a great show and still maintaing a very high level of competition was amazing to us. We now bypass our local dirt track thats only 10 miles away from home and we head to Lancaster for great racing. The food was very fairly priced, and very good. The lines were always very short and moved along in a very timely manner. This track is the "Bristol" of dirt tracks. See more..
  5. 5.0 Palmetto Motorsports Complex (1 review)
    - Awesome Place!
    Auto Racing Tracks
We are seniors who live fairly close to this complex. When they opened, we were there often riding our 4 wheelers on the tracks and trails. Since then, a new group has taken over and they have a lot of weekend bog runs and other motorsports activities. I would recommend this 300+ acre complex to anyone who loves to ride! See more..

A 1/8th mile dragstrip currently not running but they DO have MX tracks and riding! Motocross for those who don't know what MX is. Hoping the dragstrip will reopen soon but for now get a bike and ride and ride out there and watch the action. Go to Facebook for hours, not totally sure when they are open. See more..

    - Great Local Dirt Track Racing

We went to a Race at Laurens Motor Speedway. This is a very cool local race track. Here is dirt track 101: They have concrete grandstands so take a cushion preferably with a back, Ear protection is a must the cars are loud. Eye protection is suggested , the cars kick up dust and dirt so it get uncomfortable with it blowing into you eyes. Wear old clothes as you will get clay on you and take a towel to put over you car seats after the race. Make sure to check out the pit area and the track food is excellent. The race happens later is the evening however qualifying and heat races occur early. This is a great experience and would really recommend checking it out. See more..
