We planned to stop by the Hilton Head Distillery for an hour or so to try some delicious cocktails, however, after going on a tour with Derek (who was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the spirits and the process) and chatting with the bartenders, we found it hard to leave. The customer service is top notch and the employees were all very passionate about their spirits and sharing their favorite cocktail recipes. We were not able to tour the facility nor taste samples due to COVID restrictions. We had a wonderful time here and purchased vodka and a blueberry/lavendar flavored vodka. Delish! Nice shirts and gift items. Oh, and my running theme for our April 2021 Daufuskie Island trip is availability of restrooms. This place had nice public restrooms. This is the smallest distillery I've ever been to, but what it lacks in size it makes up for it in quality and character. The family that ownes it are really down to earth wonderful people. My friends and I paid for the tour and tasting, which came with a shot glass, history on moonshine, and as many samples as we wanted, it was wonderful and well worth the price.
