    The overlook over the Bald Rock is really cool, but the area has been destroyed by graffiti and vandalism. It's sad that people don't have the decency to maintain the beauty of a natural place like this. There is a trash can here which was helpful for me to throw away a few things that were stuck in my car, but in general it was a short stop. See more..

    I was looking for a quick trail nearby and found this one. It’s easy to get to. The trail starts right from the parking lot. There are no restrooms available. The trail is a wide path, with an initial incline but then curves through the pretty woods. There is a picnic table at the end of the trail but it was broken and had yellow jackets around it. There is another area that had like an educational pavilion and picnic area and that was nice. This is actually a historical site where Revolutionary War iron was mined for weapons. I believe it was like a 1.5 mile hike total. Would be great for kids and dogs. See more..
