    We found Cricket Cove 4 years ago when looking for a retirement home. It absolutely cannot be beat. Great secure storage inside and even greater service. The entire staff from Bill and Dede to all the dock guys couldn't be more helpful. We live in NC but choose to keep our boat in SC because of Cricket Cove.     We have a boat on the lake so, we wanted to camp nearby. Hawe creek is a wonderful campground with large sites lots of trees and clean restrooms. I stayed with my wife and adult son. If you have small children the park does not have much to offer. I would suggest Elijah Clark State Park up the road but for us it was wonderful. See more..
