Jerry Cooper and his team of "wranglers" are the real deal. We were greeted with a smile and they let us visit with horses before we received our training session on the trail ride. Mr. Cooper offered a prayer before we mounted the horses and that really set the tone for a wonderful experience. There were 7 of us there for my daughter-in-laws birthday and 6 of the 7 had never ridden before. The team had such patience and control of the horses during the one hour ride. Jerry picked the right horse for everyone! I was on TNT and he was a beauty to ride! We drove in from Columbia and it was worth the ride!! Although I had not ridden since I was a child, I felt very comfortable. Jeff, our trail guide, learned everyone’s name and told us about the horses that we were riding and their personalities. He kept the banter going as we rode through the wooded trails and even sang trail songs and yodeled! The hour passed quickly and my horse gave me nudges after I had dismounted. My only concern was the parking - be sure to bring your SUV as the lot is not paved and is very uneven.See more..
