    - What a surprise!

1st time in Greenville and what a surprise! City fathers did a great job reclaiming this land and creating a memorable destination park for this city. Great meandering paths to walk, run or ride. Plenty of seating all around. Metered parking on the street is not too difficult to find during a weekday. See more..
  2. 4.5 Issaqueena Falls (131 reviews)
    - Beautiful

$5 cash admission fee that covers both Stumphouse Tunnel and Issaquena falls. Small overlook for falls and little wading area where kids can play near parking lot. The real adventure was taking what I would describe as the strenuous path down to the bottom of the falls. Absolutely an amazing view. Not an easy trail. Steep, rocky, muddy, needed to hold onto tree roots. Definitely not for small children or out of shape adults... well worth it for the view. Stumphouse tunnel is in the same park. See my review for details about that. See more..
  3. 5.0 Twin Falls/Eastatoe Falls (46 reviews)
    - Must see attraction!

Like many other reviewers have mentioned, be prepared for winding roads that continue to narrow into a short one lane road into the woods where you’ll find a small parking lot. That being said, the whole way up to the parking lot is clearly marked and easy to find. There’s a short hike to the falls, slightly inclined but not too bad, easy for even a novice like me! It is a narrow pathway on the edge of a drop off so I would advise parents with small children to keep an eye out. The path to the falls is beautiful with lots of places to stop and check out the creek and even get in for a cool dip. Once at the top, the view opens up to the two waterfalls and boy is it spectacular! There’s even a covered area with a few benches you can sit on and watch the falls. You can even bring a picnic and find a cozy spot to eat. We have absolutely fallen in love with the area and will be back to visit again! See more..

    - Gorgeous falls

I’m not sure if there are more trails. Round trip was over miles. Some say it’s only a mile to the falls but we tracked nearly two. Cross the creek about four times. I’d wear boots if it’s rained recently as it was muddy in spots. Some elevation gain. Honestly one of the prettiest waterfall around. See more..

Very easy hike. Even in January while snowing a little it was a very popular trail to explore, there were always people along the trail with us. The park ranger on site it very kind and informative and will talk your ear off! We loved talking to him for a bit. We began at the station entrance and had to cross a street to get to entrance of the waterfall trail. It’s not a busy street though so I worries there. See more..

    - Great falls at the end

We saw 7 falls this trip and this was one of our favorites. We parked at Burrells Ford campground and it was a 20-30min hike from there to the falls (start at the trailhead marker in the parking lot). We saw one cottonmouth snake and a baby king snake. Also there was a lot of poison ivy and oak on this trail. We are very happy we did this beautiful, short, and easy trail. See more..

This was a good mile hike. Getting to the falls is mostly downhill so getting back is mainly uphill. The falls is quite nice. There is a white sand beach at the falls so a picnic is possible. See more..
  9. 4.5 Spoonauger Falls (6 reviews)
    - Great falls, short walk

This was only a 20 min easy/moderate hike. The only scary part was right at the end where it was really muddy in a few places (along trail edges) and I was glad I had my hiking boots on for good grip. The trailhead wasn't marked well but if you drive to burrells Ford campground (kings fall entrance), then spoonauger falls is the next trailhead. Not sure why it wasn't marked but I took a picture of the entrance. Then into the trail there is a sign on the right to turn to continue to spoonauger falls, don't miss this. We saw other hikers who missed it. There is room to wade at the end and a large rock to sit on. See more..
  10. 5.0 Falls Creek Falls (5 reviews)
    - Worth the Climb
Spent More than 3 hours Waterfalls
    Falls Creek Falls image
The map lets you know off the bat that it’s less than two miles to the waterfall. For a 52 year old overweight male, It’s a long two miles...but very much worth it. What greets you at the end is a waterfall over 100 ft tall that is just gorgeous. The sounds, the clean air, and the feeling of the waterfall mist as it’s slams into the rocks near you is a magical experience. Highly recommend! See more..
