  1. 4.0 Charleston City Market (8.141 reviews)
    - A must visit, but not necessarily a must buy
Tuesday: 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Flea & Street Markets
    Charleston City Market image
Established in the 1790s, this historic landmark is one of the oldest public markets in the U.S. There’s everything from handmade crafts, trinkets, and jewelry to the nation’s most prized souvenir—the woven sweetgrass basket. Certain weekend nights even have a special night market that runs until late. Enjoy live entertainment, embrace Charleston’s Southern charm, and soak in the lively atmosphere. It’s a fantastic way to support the local artisans and their work, too. Visit the market as a stop along a Charleston city tour and remember to have cash handy for payments. – Tripadvisor See more..

    Soda City Market image
Soda City Market is a producer-only market — vendors must make or grow their own products (including out of season/exotic fruits and vegetables, antiques, and vintage items). Everything sold at our market is unique, hand crafted, and produced in the Southeast. The market fields an average of 150 vendors per week, and over 400 unique vendors throughout the year! Soda City Market is Columbia’s weekly Main Street event inspired by traditional European street markets. In partnership with Founders Federal Credit Union, we’re open every Saturday morning 9 a.m. –1 p.m., year-round, rain or shine! Find everything you need to nourish your brain, body, and belly—and help establish Columbia as the real southern hotspot for locals and visitors alike. Soda City Market is a microcosm of Columbia, a melting pot of cultures, and an inviting community experience worth making a part of your regular weekend routine. See more..

    - Huge Pile of Fun!!

    Pickens Flea Market image
This was a huge flea market with something for everyone!! I bought tons of stuff, from jewelry to plants for my home and garden, to collectables and household items. I did see some of the standard "Made in China" crap booths as well as "Drug Store"booths but not too many. Most booths were yard sale-type stuff. My only advice would be to go as early as possible!! Get there at dawn and be done as quickly as possible because around 9:30-10:00 it gets wicked hot and so very crowded! If you like a good flea market it's well worth the trip!! See more..

This is an excellent place to go just to kill some time. It is very large and a lot of different things to see. Different vendors a lot of the time with some regulars. Great place to get some Carolina shirts. I wish there were more yard sale type vendors instead of vendors with shops of old products out of date. See more..

So, I don’t think there’s very many Amazon return outlets, and we were excited to see this one! If you have small children, hang onto them because they will probably get bored. You cannot open any bags or boxes to see what item is inside, but you can take it to an associate, and they will open it. These are Amazon returns. Most are brand new products. They hand you a blue IKEA bag when you walk in to put your items in. There are rows & rows & rows of bins to look through. On weekends everything in the bins are 5.00 each. Monday it goes to 2.00 each and on Tuesdays it’s a 1.00 each. See more..
