Fun rainy day experience
Very fun experience! We only had one day in Hilton Head and it was rainy and cold. Overheard a local talking about this place and booked a tour online. Very cool vibe from the entrance, super clean and attractive building. Outgoing, friendly staff that genuinely seemed happy to be there. Grabbed a cocktail at the bar area before the tour. I had a seasonal offering featuring their Gin and it was superb! Our tour started right on time and our guide, Joe, was really good at his job. The tour was entertaining and informative with just enough humor to keep it from feeling like a lecture. Thats a hard balance to reach and i was impressed. The tasting after the tour was fun too. We got to try all the regularly offered spirits they make. Good times continued back in the bar area where the rest of the flavored and seasonal spirits were available to sample, as well as some higher end bar food and cocktails were available to purchase. The tour included a souvenir shot glass and a discount on the full sized bottles available in the front gift shop area. I honestly could have completed 90% of my Christmas shopping there as they offered a nice selection of spirits and mixers as well as other gifts. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone, or at the very least a visit to enjoy a delicious local cocktail.

An amazing experience from start to finish!! Hilton Head Distillery Tour is a MUST when on Hilton Head Island!!
The whole tour was amazing, from start to finish! We arrived at the distillery with nothing but friendly faces to greet us. We got our drinks from the bar and went out back and waited for our guide to arrive. After a few minutes Bobby came in the door and the electricity was in the air! Bobby was engaging, talkative, knowledgable and obviously friendly! He asked about us, where we were from and even knew a few things about our hometown that not everyone would know. Throughout the whole tour his energy was just top notch, from answering a small question like how many bottles you package a day to a question about the science involved in distilling. Bobby was such a thrill! You could tell he really loved his job and wanted everyone share in that with him, by knowing everything you could want to know. When we went in to the tasting room to try the Spirits, his energy just kept climbing! We tried 6 products and everyone was better than the next. I’ve never been one to drink rum straight from a glass, but after this tour, our group collectively bought 12 bottles to take home with us! We took the tour at the end of August and friends and family that have come by since we returned have tried our Rums and they love them. We had such a blast and can’t wait to go back next time we are in Hilton Head! We’re already lining up our trip for July!
