Lewis and Clark Trail Adventures - Day Tours image
It was our family’s first time rafting (kids 13 & 11) and we had a blast. Our guide, Brendan, had a calming and confident personality to help relax our son’s nervous energy around the size of the rapids. By the end of the trip, our son’s river confidence had switched and he was jumping off the boat into the Clark Forks’ cooling waters. My 13 yr old wants to come back next summer for a full day trip! Adventure Missoula image
Our family of 5 from Washington state chose a half day white water rafting trip yesterday, as opposed to going to Silverwood, on our way to take our oldest to college in Bozeman. We are so glad we did this instead! So impressed with our experience with Adventure Missoula. Communication from beginning to end is excellent! Once we arrived, we were greeted right away by the friendliest staff and Murphy (the best dog in the world!) Alexis was SO good at leading the safety talk, making it funny and informative all at the same time. Lukas was our guide and we would ask for him over and over again! He was amazing with our two teens AND our 6 year old! So funny and cool without even trying, and patient with all the questions from our little guy. He expertly guided us through all the rapids with lots of “facts”. It was so fun! I would hands down choose this company over any other option! See more..

  5. 5.0 Wiley E. Waters Whitewater Rafting (91 reviews)
    - Friendly Service and Accommodating
Saturday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing
Wiley E. Waters Whitewater Rafting image
My first choice excursion was cancelled but Wiley E Waters was accommodating and switched us to a different trip at no extra charge. At the meeting site, we were immediately welcomed warmly as we waiting for the remainder of the group to arrive. The head guide went over and beyond what I expected and matched rafters to guides and other riders by getting a feel for compatible personalities. (Which is really neat! Who wants to be stuck on a small watercraft with people they find annoying?) This small detail made a positive impact on my impression of Wiley E Waters. Our family made wonderful memories with this new experience. I won’t forget my daughter’s reaction over the first rapid. She gave me a big genuine smile and said, “Mom, this is FUN!” and couldn’t wait for more. If a company can get a reaction like that from a tween, it’s definitely a win in my book. Sign up for your adventure with Wiley E Waters. You won’t be disappointed. See more..

    Yellowstone Cellars & Winery image
Yellowstone Cellars & Winery has been handcrafting classic French and Italian style red and white wines since 2010. All of our grapes are hand-picked and sourced from family-owned vineyards located in the Yakima Valley of Washington. We believe that these are some of the finest grapes grown in the Pacific Northwest, if not in the United States. Great wines have to start with great grapes! We transport all the grapes back to Billings 13 hours after picking, where we crush, de-stem, ferment, barrel age, and bottle, all on-site at our winery. Our focus has always been on the winemaking process and letting the Terroir of the grapes shine in our finished wines. We are proud to be a family-owned and operated business with deep Montana roots. We love to share our story and passion for wine with everyone who walks through our door. If you're in the area, feel free to visit our Tasting Room and sample any or all of our wines. Cheers, Brandon & Sarah Owners/winemakers See more..

Walking Shadow Ecology Tours of Yellowstone image
We visited YNP one month after the flood and were only able to gain access to the park through the north gate was with a private guide. Ashea took us on a full day tour of the park. She had the car packed with wonderful snacks, multiple scopes and binoculars for wildlife viewing and was so knowledgeable that we just soaked it all up! We got to see bison, elk and a wolf chasing a grizzly. She took us to the upper and lower falls, yellowstone lake and timed it just right to have lunch and then see Old Faithful erupt. On the way back to the north entrance we saw the hot springs and finished up at Mammoth Springs. It was a very full day and we packed in probably 3 days worth of sights into that day. I can't imagine trying to navigate and figure out which areas to stop on our own. Having a guide was worth it and having one with over 25 years of experience and so much knowledge even better! Thank you so much Ashea- what a wonderful experience you gave my family. See more..

    Yellowstone Journeys image
This tour will be one of the highlights of my trip. We had 11 in our group and our tour guide, Nolan, planned the trip for our age group and abilities. He did a wonderful job of working within the constraints caused by the flooding this year and the resulting road construction. We had plenty of time at the most popular places but also stopped at a number of places that are less well known. Nolan is a local guy, very personable in nature and knowledgeable about the area. He has a dry sense of humor and provided lots of colorful stories while we were driving. Thoroughly enjoyable day. I highly recommend this tour! See more..

Within the first hour we were observing wolves playing in a valley… magical… This alone would have been worth the tour itself. Audra, the owner of Lamar Valley Touring took us to places of Yellowstone we never would have found ourselves. The animals she had us encounter and view, including birds, is priceless. Beyond Expectations! 5 adults could not have experienced a better tour. We spent 2 days in Yellowstone with Evan who enthusiastically shared his passion for all things Yellowstone, especially the wildlife. We were so impressed with his depth of knowledge exhibited through his captivating stories and intuition. Never would we have seen the wildlife or experienced the park the way we did without Evan. He was early, provided a very clean and comfortable vehicle, with tons of snacks and beverages. Day 1 we saw the beautiful landscape of the park and day 2 he focused on wildlife. We saw lots of grizzlies, wolves, moose, dear, elk, mountain goats, herds of bison and many bird varieties. His equipment was top of the line- 5 scopes adjusted for 5 different heights. Evan sincerely cared about our experience. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Don’t hesitate to hire Evan. He will not disappoint! See more..

    Flathead Raft Company image
This trip was amazing. Brett was so knowledgeable about the river and we had the BEST time. We had a boat to ourselves with our group of 11 with kids ranging in age from 9 to 15. The 15 year olds were in front and they rocked it. The 9 year olds held on in the middle, which was best. You also get a chance to hop out of the boat and float and swim down the river during the calm times and the kids and adults thought that was awesome too. Highly recommend over the West Glacier trips since there are far fewer boats on this part of the river and bigger rapids. See more..

The Ellen Theatre is dedicated to presenting to the Gallatin Valley the very best in the performing arts, with the goal to entertain, educate and inspire the audience, while celebrating the human experience, providing cultural and social enrichment for all. OPENED IN 1919, when Bozeman boasted a population of nearly 6,000, The Ellen hosted variety shows, silent movies, school plays, town band performances and even an opera featuring a live elephant. Friday night with your favorite sweetheart, the Saturday wild west double feature and the Sunday family concert were staples of life at the historic downtown landmark. Montana TheatreWorks, a local non-profit, reopened Ellen's doors in 2008, with the goal to restore and preserve her history, while providing a future. The Ellen Theatre. We travelled with our 8 year old grandson on a 3 night White Cliffs trip, and the pace of the excursion, the support & involvement of the guides, the unique setting were perfect for his first big outdoor adventure. We were hit by a pretty wicked storm on our second night and I can't say enough about the professionalism demonstrated by the guides, as they checked on every guest's safety, rebuilt tents, and gathered canoes & gear that were strewn several hundred yards downstream. Fresh pots of coffee and french toast were served the next morning as if nothing happened! See more..
