We were tired but still wanted to experience the heights of Baldy. We got a Gondola-only ticket to ride up and back, and we were able to enjoy the vista in Adirondack chairs, watch skiers and generally get about on foot. Great idea - I'm glad we did it.See more..

There are so many amazing runs and lifts on this mountain I just had the best time! I’ve only been skiing 5 times so I am a newbie still. This is a spectacular golf course and so different from many, many courses in the mountainous design. I love a challenging course. This was that but very doable but one has to think about what kind of a shot to make. Plus the folks there are very nice and business like and friendly!See more..
We were staying at a VRBO right next to Lizard Butte. It was a beautiful view. It is a .4 mile hike with elevation 144ft. You pull up on the rock road at the bottom and walk up. You don't want to drive up higher as it is private property (where we were staying). At the top, it offers 360 degree gorgeous views of Snake River Wine Country.See more..

You leave Riggins at 1,800 feet elevation and arrive at Heavens Gate Lookout an hour or so later at 8,429 feet and can look into four states. Put it on your bucket list !See more..
