We camped in our trailer at Bull Trout Campground. There are no hookups here, so bring your own water and have a fully charged battery. Our campsite backed up to a lake. It was quiet and peacful and no ATVs were allowed in the campground. This is a great place for serenity in nature. I swam in the lake and walked around it through the forest. Motorized boats are prohibited. It was a truly enjoyable experience. See more..

It is easy to drive through on the Interstate, but also beautiful to get off the main road and camp or hike. I also loved driving up through into Thompson Falls, MT, then back around through Sandpoint, ID, then down to Coeur d'Alene. You can enter the forest from several access points. See more..
