    What a fabulous time our private group of ten had together at the Idaho Sleigh Rude adventure in Garden Valley, Idaho. Everyone in our group was new to Idaho and most are new residents to Garden Valley. Our driver, Darl was friendly and skilled at driving the team of draft horses, April & Trickie through part of the 880 acres of meadow lands. A large herd of wild elk greeted us half way through the ride to feast upon a few bales of hay we brought. It was fun all sharing in the feeding of these majestic cows (and one young bull). They was even put on a show of female angst as two of them raised up in their hind legs to claim their meal. Upon return to the lodge, we were welcomed with delicious chocolate chips cookies and decadent hot chocolate. It was certainly a wonderful way to welcome in the Christmas season in Garden Valley, ID.
