Yellowstone Playhouse is a summer stock dinner theatre located in Island Park, Idaho. In 2008, Andrew & Julie Durrant, began a lease on the building and changed the name from Mack's Inn Dinner Theater. The couple launched the theater into a new, fresh direction. 4. 4.5 Hayden Discount Cinema (60 reviews)
    - Budget Friendly
    Movie Theaters
If you are willing to wait weeks or sometimes, months, to see a new release movie in the theater, Hayden Discount will save you money. $3 per ticket and reasonable prices on snacks and drinks. You can definitely tell this theater is older, but it's been upgraded and kept clean. The seats are comfortable, the sound system is clear and the staff is friendly. Much more affordable than the only other theater in Cda if you can stand the wait to see your movie. See more..
  5. 4.5 Spud Drive In (58 reviews)
    - Simply “Spud-tastic”
    Theaters
    Spud Drive In image
We decided to go the Spud Drive In on our last night in the Teton Valley. They were hosting a film festival and it seemed like a great opportunity to do something very unique to Driggs. Even in the midst of a pandemic it is still possible to find joy, laughter and wholesome family fun. There were license plates from all over the US, happy families in adventure vans, children in fleece jammies and cowboy boots and a sky full of stars. The Spud is a reminder that in a world of modern gadgets and devices that keep us constantly glued to their screens, the old school drive in movie theatre is a slice of Americana that refreshes the soul and gives us a chance to feel normal again. Starlight Mountain Theatre image
For what this theatre is (not Broadway), it is terrific. The setting is really pretty with trees, creek, and mountains in the background. The acting and singing is fine and makes for a pleasant evening. Go without expecting Broadway and you'll probably have a good experience. Price was very reasonable for seniors ($14). Very family friendly. See more..

    Fat Cats image
Was a blast! They have Virtual Reality, Bowling, Movies, Arcade and mini golf. There's food and you can spend the whole day there and not grow bored! Only downside? Kinda pricey. I do recommend eating elsewhere if you can because it was over 100 dollars to feed a family of 6. See more..

    Palace Playhouse image
We went to the production of Scrooge (Charles Dickens) with our daughter and grand-daughter. Both the dinner and the play were outstanding. May have been the best prime rib I've ever had. Service was just right and I was totally amazed at the acting talent and choreography. There were four of us to we sat at a round table for four next to center aisle second row back. Turned out to be perfect location. They also have tables for six which are behind the round table and slightly elevated. Making reservations on their web site (palaceplayhouse.com) was a breeze. Prices seemed maybe a bit high but would probably be considered a bargain in some cities. See more..

    Teton Vu Drive-In image
Places like these are hard to find in the United States, let alone well maintained. This Drive-In is going strong with a nice property, nice movie selections, and even better concessions. The value of this place is more than worth it and we highly recommend it to those nostalgic couples all the way to Drive-In newbies. It is a special experience and offers up good family fun or the perfect date night. The only complaint we have is the bathrooms need to be cleaned/serviced more often, but they have several inside the concession area. See more..
  15. 3.5 Paramount 5 (10 reviews)
    - Less expensive alternative for movies in Rexburg
    Spent 1-2 hours Movie Theaters
The locals call this the "cheap theater" since it has been the discount venue for years. What used to be two different companies adjacent to each other, the Paramount consolidates the effort to bring reasonably priced and family friendly movies to Rexburg. This is a fine theater. The restrooms are kept well cleaned. The snack bar has typical movie offerings, popcorn, nachos, etc. If you want to watch a movie on the big screen, this is a pleasant venue, for a small price. Don't expect new releases, though. If it is not a blockbuster movie, most of the locals say "wait until it is at the cheap theater." The staff have been very polite over the several times I have visited this theater, once refunding my ticket when the movie was not what I had expected. I enjoy movies at this place. See more..
