    - It made me see stars

We were camping in the state park and went to the Observatory for their presentation and then to look through the big telescope and some smaller ones. The presentation was very interesting. I learned stuff I never knew before. The stars were bright that night. I saw Saturn and other heavenly bodies I've never seen before. The one recommendation would be to hang out long enough that the bulk of folk have left. It's easier to get telescope time. See more..

    - Always new, always exciting

I've been to the planetarium three different times, and my kids and I have learned so much from every show. The presenter is knowledgeable, engaging, enthusiastic, and she welcomes questions and audience participation. It has never felt overly-rehearsed or too scripted; in fact, I love how sometimes an audience question mid-show will lead to the inclusion of slides and discussion that weren't planned. I also like how new shows are being offered all the time, based on public interest, recent scientific discoveries, and real-life events like upcoming eclipses, seasons, etc. I've been to other planetariums, but I love the smaller size and increased intimacy of this one. I get goosebumps every time the lights start dimming, and I look forward to catching more shows in the future! See more..

Great little museum with lots of information. This would be great for kids to visit and the museum is FREE! While it does have a lot of information, most of the items displayed are replicas and not the actual fossils. Still lots to see. The planetarium was great and for two adults it was only $12 to see the movie “Hidden Universe” followed by a presentation of the current night sky and constellations. There were a couple of other movies they were showing on the dome screen as well. We were there about 2 hours including the planetarium movie. See more..
