This is a place where you want to do a quick walk-thru scan, go again a little slower, and then make you final pass to find what you want. There is a ton of stuff, and most all of it is not junk. They have really put a lot of effort in what they display. And look out for all the little nook & cranny peek-a-boo spots, because there are several and you can miss them. I won't give a laundry list of specific items, but I will say this... I collect vintage, steel beer cans, and the second I walked in I knew I would find some. And, indeed I did. You could easily spend 2 hours in there...See more..
4.5Utter Clutter(9 reviews) - New/exciting items every time I go! Spent 1-2 hours Antique Shops
This is my favorite antique store located in downtown Nampa. Highly recommend! The shop is open Wednesday-Saturday 12pm-5pm. The owner is down to earth (he doesn't have that stuffy, antique dealer attitude). All items price to sell. Make sure to check out the Facebook page. He posts pictures weekly of the new merchandise. He goes out of his way to find unique items for his store. I love shopping for vintage Christmas items. He has a huge selection of holiday items, glassware, baskets, toys, outdoor decor, suitcases, lamps, unique items etc. too much to list. There's merchandise outside too. Make sure you take a picture with Mr. Indian and Ms. Cowgirl hat lady (mannequins) who sits in the shop everyday.See more..

5.0Joe's Emporium(6 reviews) - Happy accident finding this gem! Spent < 1 hour Speciality & Gift Shops • Antique Shops
On our last day in Boise, with time to kill before our flight we just hit the freeway and headed west. Drove through Nampa and didn't see much. Kept on it thinking we would get off in Caldwell, and turn around. Drove past lovely, and clearly in transition, downtown Caldwell. Decided to stop at an "antique" shop and ended up spending tons of time and a bit of money. This place has EVERYTHING you can think of and tons of stuff you couldn't imagine. Lots of the toys of my childhood beckoning me to waste money on them! Also a nice conversation with the proprietor, who I assume is Joe (?), about relocating from California. Great place, worth a visit.See more..

5.0North Idaho Trading Co.(1 review) - Old style entertaining oddity and gun shop, with antiques Antique Shops This antique and gun shop was marvelous. It reminded me of the sort of places we used to find on road trips in the early 70s. The entire right side is hunting materials, mostly guns, but the rest of the shop, in its five or six maze-like rooms is a really delightful antique store/oddity museum specializing in taxidermy and the old and weird. It’s worth it just to see the displays. There is a giraffe head and a hippopotamus, along with all the elk and deer and bison and wild cats you could wish for. There is a display of skulls that invites you to try to identify them. Jackalope heads (and tails) are for sale, and there is a vampire killing kit (not for sale), a small Fiji mermaid, two headed chick, various creepy items like vampire bats, and the big display of the Mummified Mermaid, a full-sized mermaid in a case (post cards and t-shirts available!) There are plenty of old items to look at from hunting gear and hand tools (stored in a vintage jail cell) to salt and pepper shakers, and antlers by the pound. The owner was very friendly and fun to chat with and threw in my postcard for free since I bought other things. (By the way, there are some unpolished stones here that are just as nice as the ones down the street at the gem shop and cost a lot less.) I’ll come back to this shop any time I can manage it. It was a hoot.See more..
