    It’s a 4 mile Dirt road up to Bayhorse Ghost Town. We were in our small Class B Motorhome so we just took our time at 10-15 mph and it didn’t take that long. The State has done a good job fixing it up for self guided walking tours. We enjoyed walking around seeing the old buildings and machinery etc. They even have Charcoal Kilns they built up there.     A long, bumpy and dirty road will take you to the city. The road is heavily used by off-roaders. Lots of ATVs, so take the turns with care. The city itself is old, but it is occupied by residents, meaning the buildings are places where people live and work rather than a tourist attraction. With that in mind, many are not friendly. We had lunch and toured the town. Plan to spend a couple of hours there, plus more on the commute. See more..
