I wanted to try an early spring fishing trip before the summer crowds showed up. We booked two days of fishing on April 18th and 19th. The weather was horrid. Wind, rain, cold, etc. However, our guide Nate Burr was terrific. He rowed his butt off and put us on a lot of large Rainbows and Browns. He was patient, funny, and very safe in some tricky conditions. My buddy and I enjoyed the two days very much and will come back again and again.See more..

Fantastic experience. We took a family trip with nine of “the boys” on a 3 day excursion. Everett, Jazz, and Zack are wonderful guides who fit right into our group and became part of the family. They went out of the way to make everyone from age 16 to 73 feel comfortable. The food was unbelievable with cheese and wine plates and salmon and steak…well above what our group of knuckledraggers was used to. The fishing was only okay but we were able to catch and release some every day. I recommend including the inflatable kayaks as they added a new dimension to the rapids and we were able to all try them at some point. I highly recommend going with these guys on any trip and only wish we would have done a longer one. We’ll be back next year.See more..

We sent out kids to the 1/2 day kids camp and they each caught at least 1 fish. They couldn't stop talking about their day and the fun they had with their 'guide', Tatum. Two days later they were still talking about her and how she helped them catch a fish. The ride on the bus was fun for them and they were so excited we ended up buying gear to commemorate the day. They took a couple of pictures of the kids so we could see the fun they had and the smiles were ear-to-ear.See more..
We had such an amazing trip on the Payette! Our guide, Freddie Bailey went above and beyond to assure our safety. We had people from 58-82 yrs of age and each one was watched over with care. We’re requesting Freddie on our next trip! Sally was an experienced driver, gave helpful tips, and was very personable. Wisdom was applied for the delicious lunch. Instead of eating on a beach with many bees and wasps, we ate at the pullout in peace. Don’t pass up this trip!See more..

My family and I went during the Riggins Big Water Blowout! What an amazing time to go! We where so glad we booked with Rubicon Outfitters. We did 26 miles in about 3 hours total. If your looking for a thrill ride then the Salmon river in Riggins is one of the best. I've been down the river with other guides, but the guys from Rubicon are by far the best experienced. Hunter, Jesse and Ernie make it look like a breeze. The way they can navigate through giant rapids and huge wave trains is so much fun!!!! My favorite is definitely Ruby. I definitely reccomend these guys and can't wait to book another trip with them again. Thanks so much Rubicon Outfitters for a great trip!!!!See more..

This last September I visited Grand Teton national Park to be able to photograph the mountains and the valley when the aspens were changing. I was fortunate to be able to book another day with professional photographer Daryl Hunter who had led me on a photographic tour a couple of years before. My photo interests are primarily in scenic and wildlife. Wildlife can be iffy but Daryl put me on a nice six point bull and harem just after daybreak. The rest of the day was spent in the park and in Idaho. Daryl's interest is in having his clients go home with some real keeper photos and his intimate knowledge of the country will lead you to places you would probably never find on your own. A big PLUS, he's a heck of nice, down to earth, guy to be around.See more..

Rhonda is sooo cool. She took us all over town with her dog Mojo. Great walking tour. Rhonda knows a lot about history and she makes it fun too. Mojo knows the route and it was a lot of fun watching him check out the bar to see if handouts were forthcoming. He's a really cool dog. Idaho City has a ton of history and we would have missed a lot of it if we had not taken this tour. Highly recommended.See more..

TERRIBLE experience! The booking experience with guidetime is terrible. I tried to book online but there is no way that you can get a trip confirmed instantly. After submitting my booking I got a call from the founder!? Weird! I don’t want to talk to someone when I try to book a trip on the web. Don’t book with GuideTime just find whatever local business you want to go through and use their website.See more..
