Off the road a bit and after about 1.5 miles on unpaved road, come to museum and cave. Peacocks roam the grounds. Museum is good if you are into taxidermy. Cave goes back a good distance and you get an individual latern. No stalagmites or unique attributes, bit still cool. See more..

The gates have reopened at the Meridian Temple to allow visitors to enjoy this wonderful spot. Covid-19 precautions made it necessary to lock the gates and limit guests from walking the grounds for a time; but hopefully those days are now past. There are several benches from which to ponder while experiencing the peaceful aura and visual feast. Landscaping includes many different types of trees, shrubbery, flowers, and plants plus a large reflecting pool. The site also provides picturesque views of the Boise River to the north. Even though only recommended church members can enter the building, everyone can enjoy a peaceful stroll around this beautiful House of the Lord and feel God's presence near this Holy Temple! The city of rocks Idaho is absolutely amazing. It’s a little bit of a drive from Twin Falls and Rupert Idaho but well worth the trip. Make sure you have the day to explore if you’re not camping there. Lots of old Homestead‘s to see on your way and a graveyard just outside of the national Park that’s worth taking your time to look at. Make sure to bring water and snacks. This area is great for climbers, hikers, walkers or even if you can’t leave the vehicle the views are still absolutely stunning. You can see pioneers names written on the rocks and axle grease. Let your imagination wander While looking at the beautiful rocks to see what images you can see. We saw a turtle, to Pioneer girls, an ape, and a man that looked like he was from Easter island. Definitely worth your time but try to take a full day. See more..
