If you are staying in Sandpoint and need a real spirit boost, look no further. The service style is band-led modern/mixed devotional singing and the sermons are generally by Dr. Tony Nelson. If you want to feel the heart of this community, First Christian is an excellent choice. Services are at 9am and 11am, childcare is available. Minor point, the coffee is local, free and very good. All Christians and seekers will love this place. First Christian church is located right next to the Sandpoint Library on Division near Church Street.See more..

Old Mission State Park is a place I have been wanting to stop at for many years, since one can see the Mission Church from I-90. Admission is $ 7 and the park has a very nice visitor center with restrooms and a very interesting movie about the Old Mission. The Parsonage is very well preserved and has lots of exhibits; the interpretive trail through the property is well laid out and the old church is beautiful; it is also the oldest building in Idaho. If you have an hour to spare, it's well worth it.See more..

We walked into a big open room, with a free coffee cart front and center. Everything was well-marked and easy to get to. The greeters at the door were friendly and helpful. The service itself was energetic and God-honoring. They were teaching on the attributes of God, with love being the focus this weekend. My family and I loved the sermon and the lead pastor, who seemed to have such compassion. If I lived here, I would definitely come back and get plugged in.See more..
