1 Star Places To Visit in Connecticut, United States (7)
1.5Amity Bowl(2 reviews) - Bad Business Practice Spent 1-2 hours Bowling Alleys I gave only 2 star because of bad management practice only. Don't know the actual gaming experience here. I bough a Groupon couple of months back and went there driving 10 miles. I have been told that there is a Birthday Party in progress and don't have any free lanes, they asked me to come back next day saying there is no scheduled events, accepted. Next day another person at the front desk said, they have team competition ON and don't have any free lanes and asked me to come back next week. At that point I felt that they don't want to honor Groupon with different excuse everyday. Thankfully Groupon refunded my money. I will not go there again.See more..

1.0Riverview Farms(2 reviews) - Very Disappointing Visit with Safety Concerns Farms
We were so excited to do a corn maze this year! I would say this was not a corn maze but a weed maze that the height of the weeds/corn was not even waist high. What a disappointment! The worst $12 I have ever paid! Would not recommend. Also one note for safety. They have riding tractors and bikes for kids. There were no signs of cleaning down those ride on’s after each child and parent were touching them. Not safe for this environment!See more..

1.0Olde Stratford Ale House(1 review) - Dirty, Dingy, Smelly Bars & Clubs Entered this dive upon recommendation of a co-worker. Upon first look, it is a semi-quaint old man's bar....then it hits you. Everything has it's own putrid smell. The stench of rancid oil fills the air. The centrally located taps haven't been cleaned in ages. Even the bartenders breath had it's own sour stink to it. We reluctntly ordered a cheeseburger, a spicy chiken sandwich, and some fries. The bartender, Kaz, took our order and went to prepare our food, but not before stopping at the garbage can to spit/vomit. At that point we were going to leave, but for some reason did not, although we should have. The food was served, accompanied by the bartender's thumb holding down the roll, along with another blast of his noxious breath. We waited until he went in the back, left a $10 on the bar, and left quickly. Never again!See more..
1.0Most Holy Trinity Church(1 review) - I was baptized in church way back in the 1950's. Churches & Cathedrals This was a church I grew up with. Its a blend of the old and the new. Its been remolded a few times, but the things that are really important like the statuary, and stations of the cross are still there. It was very nostalgic to attend Mass here, and a bit emotional as both my mothers parents gad their funerals here, 1976, and 1993 respectively, so it was emotional. still it was good to be home. 1.0Norwalk Concert Hall(1 review) - Acoustics are poor Spent 2-3 hours Theaters I have now been here twice; once for a rock concert, once for a symphonic and choral event with individual singers. The acoustics are wanting; The staging set for the symphony was more effective, but the hall needs some baffles to tone down the bounce. Avoid seating under the balcony in particular.See more..
