It's the case of another dying mall. The stores are limited with a lot of dead space. The few saving graces for the mall include the Target, the movie theaters and the Panera. Otherwise we would never go here. I hear that there is a chance there may be some more stores coming in and Party City has expanded in a spot there. I would hate to see it go, but it's a lot of space to fill.See more..

2.0The Blackboard Cafe(7 reviews) - Terrible place to eat and drink unless your 21 Thursday: 11:00 AM - 2:00 AM Bars & Clubs food is terrible and the assistant manager on the weekends has no reason holding that title this place is a joke...See more..
This is not like many state Welcome Centers that offer a great amount of information, large facilities and an impressive facility. More like a run of the mill rest area. Ok to stop for a bio break or rest, but does not provide the character of the state (at least I hope it doesn't).See more..
2.5Laurel View Country Club(4 reviews) - Potential a great course Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
Reasonable golf course ,but really needs some improvements on the course. Back nine is definitely difficult. Nice changeSee more..
They really need to get more help to watch areas and control the amount of people in an area. There were several safety concerns that could have been fixed by employees giving simple reminders or directions. A child could get hurt in the playscape area at no fault of any of the other kids but because there’s no one doing crowd control on things. The foam pit/rock wall is another area of concern since there are 2 large trampolines to the side of the pit (not the ones you use to him in) where kids jump off the higher side ones into the pit but can’t see if anyone is below them. One worker had a apple earpod in their ear and bouncing to music instead stopping potential injuries. I understand that it’s up to parents to help as well but you can’t stop other people’s children and that’s the issue. It’s a wonderful concept but more help is needed to perform crowd control.See more..

I was trying to buy some tickets to watch a kids movie with my wife and two kids. My go to spot is another movie theater closer to home, but I could not find any available seats the day that I wanted to go. So, I started looking at other movie theaters nearby. That's how I ended going here. It is located about 15 minutes away from New Haven going North thru I95. The facilities outside and inside could use a paint and/renovation. It is very outdated. It reminds me of movie theaters thst I used to go when I lived in n Puerto Rico. I bought the tickets online, so all I had to do was show my phone. The restrooms are very tight and small. The service was good, even though the popcorn was not as hot as i would've liked. The ticket prices are cheap, but the concession prices are high (as expected). Seats are not very comfortable, but the area was clean.See more..
2.5Soulcycle Westport(2 reviews) - Fun class in a clean branch of established spinning franchise Spent < 1 hour Health Clubs Went a year ago and had a 2nd opportunity to attend, this time an advertised class with a theme of 80s rock. The instructor dressed up in a blonde wig and bright tights bringing humor to match his earnest teaching. Typical male to female ratio of 1:10. The class is relatively quiet to the instructor's chagrin. However, there are several processes that I assume are part of soul cycle formula. I recommend the class for the instructor's enthusiasm. Lots of staff to ensure all know how to clip on/off. It is super clean with great shower facilities as well as lockers.See more..
2.5Wolfpits Nature Preserve(2 reviews) - Especially beautiful last week of October Spent 1-2 hours Nature & Wildlife Areas Little gem on Wolfpits Road in Bethel, especially during the last week of October when the leaves on the grove of euonymus trees near the entrance turn pink. The pink and green make it look like God is holding a wedding reception. Downsides are that it is difficult to find the entrance (looks it's off someone's driveway) and parking is very limited near the entrance, street is too narrow to park on.See more..

2.0Brookside Bar and Grill(1 review) - Go somewhere else Thursday: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM Bars & Clubs We went for Saturday night dinner about 6pm. Hardly anyone there (which we should have taken as a sign). Sat ourselves at a sticky table. Waitress was very prompt with service and personable. Food was marginal.See more..
2.0Holley-Williams House(1 review) - This museum closed, was sold, and is now a private residence Gardens • History Museums When it was still open it was a nice small town museum, mostly dedicated to the history of one local family that was prominent in the iron business many years ago. However, if you weren't a Holley or a Williams, or didn't really find looking around old houses very satisfying, it wasn't the kind of visit you would be apt to repeat. They had an enactor who was very good as a Revolutionary soldier (cannons for the Revolutionary War were made nearby) and really knew his history, but even he couldn't make the site into the attraction I think people hoped it would become.See more..
