Artisan's Guild is a lovely gallery housing local talent. They feature handmade decorations, jewerly, cards, paintings, and photos. One of the things I was really impressed by were the Christmas trees that are made out of vintage jewerly. They are lovely and come in a range of different sizes. Another beautiful creation are the Christmas wreaths made of vintage Christmas bulbs, they are so innovative and would look fantastic displayed in any home. I just read that the Artisan's Guild is closing 11 December. This is very sad. It is such a unique shop, filled with immense creativity and supports local artists. There is a gofundme page, I hope they are able to raise the money needed to keep the shop open. They are currently open Wednesday - Saturday 10-5, and Sunday 12-4. Please check them out. It would be a pity for the community and visitors if they close for good.See more..

Art Galleries I have been to many DIY sign places, and was skeptical trying a new place from the ones in Monroe and elsewhere (which are also good). But after going to AR workshop, the experience for me didnt compare. First, the cost was better, which lead me to believe something may be wrong. I thought the other ones were expensive, but given website projects looked similar, there had to be something awry. I was wrong. AR workshop crafts were not only better conceived, but the processes to make the projects were infinitely better. The final masterpieces came out so much cleaner and more professional due to simple enhancements they made in assembly, staining, painting. The place is gorgeous. Owners Michael and Jessica were in house when we were working. Staff was amazingly attentive, and location is central in downtown fairfield. My two daughters who originally were upset we tried a new place, afterwards said they don't want to go back to the old place. AR workshop accommodated special art requests, and went out of the way to make everything special for not only our group, but every group there (was a mom's night out as well).
