What great fun we had here! Beautiful place to visit with Sprawling green fields. We took a blanket and found shade under some large trees. Entertainment was Lee-Ann Lovelace. What a talented musician. They played from 2-530 that day. It was an Absolutely enjoyable day! The gift shop was great and I bought some wine for friends. Lake waramaug sits below the winery. It too is very beautiful. Name this a must when visiting CT and Enjoy the beauty. See more..

I grew up in New Haven in the 50s. I feared Little Italy would have been homogenized into standard "amerika" by now. Not so. Great Italian food. Place after place. And Wooster Square has been preserved so it gives a wonderful glimpse into New Haven life 100 years ago. Go! See more..

West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square offer something for everyone. The Noah Webster Public Library has an outstanding children's section. The library offers numerous programs for all ages. If you enjoy eating out, there is a variety of excellent restaurants, many with outdoor seating. There are many fine retail and business establishments which include clothing stores, jewelry stores, banks, a pharmacy, a hardware store, a kitchen store, a candy store, a bakery, a book store, a sports club, a movie theater, and a wellness center. I frequently walk to the Center to mail a letter at the Post Office, stop at the bank, or return DVDs to the library. I enjoy grocery shopping at Whole Foods which is across the street from Blue Back and Going to special events at the outdoor plaza. Parking is easy. There's plenty of on street parking and three parking garages. The Center and Blue Back are great places to go! See more..

The town green is large with many shops on all sides. Great place to walk around and take in the scenery. There was parking available and was nice to get out and walk the district and check out the many shops. This was a nice surprise. See more..
