This is my fourth trip out on the Lucky Lady and highly recommend this experience for families, friends, couples or even solo. Captain Tony and his crew are top notch. Trip is six hours and I have caught lots of fish every time out. More sea bass in June, porgies in July. The mates filet your catch and also help with tangles, take fish off the line and providing bait. There is nothing like being out on the open water in the Lucky Lady! Captain Morgan made my husband’s birthday experience so special and fun! We did the two hour fun ride and he took us on a tour of the CT River that was relaxing and fun, with perfect music. He slowed down while we enjoyed snacks, and did some impressive boating skills to make us laugh. He also helped us get an incredible shot of the birthday boy out in the water. We relaxed and felt so comfortable while we enjoyed a gorgeous afternoon out on the water! On top of all of that, the Cove was flooded and he went waist-deep in the water to make sure that WE didn’t have to get wet walking to and from the dock. I would recommend him to anyone, and we can’t wait to go out on the boat with him again!See more..
We had an excellent guided Fly Fishing trip on the Farmington River two Friday's ago. Drew, our guide, knew all the best fishing spots and was very knowledgable about the best technics and flies to use given the current conditions. I would highly recommend their service. We met Lou at his dock conveniently located near the Guilford Lobster Pound and The Guilford Mooring. Parking was a breeze and Lou was already there prepping the boat. We were out for 4 hours and caught dozens of HUGE Bluefish. Later in the day we did some bottom fishing where we also able to see a bunch of seals. Lou knows the water very well and is a great guy.
