It is so nice to find an old historic building that has been cared for and is still in use as originally planned. Built in 1861, it has a gorgeous victorian gothic facade and beautiful ironwork staircase at the entrance. There is a 1909 Westinghouse antique fire engine, which was built in New Haven, at the east end of the first floor. Anyone visiting the downtown area with children should take a moment for the kids to see this immaculately restored piece of history. See more..
