This fun, whimsical park is a great time for the whole family. There are tennis courts, a small water park/splash pad, picnic areas, a playground, and a small flower garden, so there's something for everyone of all ages. The playground is accessible for kids of all abilities. There's plenty of parking and trash cans as well. The entrance was a bit hard to find at first, as we initially thought that it was just the entrance for the tennis courts, so we had to turn around after passing it. See more..

  5. 4.5 Elm Ridge Park (5 reviews)
    - Greatly improved!
    Parks • Playgrounds
We are residents of Rocky Hill since 3 years and this is the closest playground for us. Recently, the playground has been renovated and has freshly painted swings, new slides and playsets. It has a sandbox with little trucks and buckets. This is the favorite place for my daughter. It has a huge dog park too. The parking is ample. The baseball ground does host interschool tournaments. There is also a basketball ground closeby. A wading pool for toddlers and swimming pool for adults and kids is maintained well by the town parks and rec. One of the main attractions in this park are the free movie shows at the huge lawn. They put up their schedule on the website. They also have concerts by different artists all through summer. Their fall festival with a huge bonfire and rides/ games/ crafts for the kids make this a must visit place for the town residents every October. See more..

    Wolcott Playground image
This is a great place to begin the summer with young children since the water works start before the town pool is open. Also a great place to sled with smaller kids as the slopes to the soccer field are a nice ride and the climb back up the hill is not to painful. Lots to do here with kids and a lovely park.
