**Excellent** customer service!! We purchased the Funtime booking protection and it was well worth it. We unfortunately had rain on and off throughout our week- long vacation to Deep Creek, but because we had the protection plan we were able to easily move around our reservation time to best fit the good weather windows. The staff at Funtime were very helpful and accommodating and we feel like they went above and beyond to make it work out for us! The boats were in great condition and easily held the 11 people in our family (6 adults and 5 children). We rented a tube and the kids (and adults!) loved it. I highly recommend Funtime, especially because I'm not aware of another outfitter at Deep Creek that offers booking protection. See more..

I have taken kayak tours both on the Little Blackwater River and now on the Transquaking river and have had a magnificent time on every occasion. Frank is a wonderful guide pointing out wildlife and their stories with respect and love for these wonderful beings. All of the staff (including Jamie and Casey as well as Frank) have been wonderful and friendly to me taking time to explain the wilderness here and help to map out wonderful adventures. The Aquatic Center has the best boats on deep creek lake! The staff is very nice and helpful when it came to all of my families questions. We got the 115 pontoon and were very excited to receive the newest silver boat in the fleet! When we came back the staff helped us out with gassing the boat and made the check out process extremely quick and easy. Would 100% recommend the Aquatic Center to anyone who is renting at the lake. :)See more..

This was the first time the family and I were on a private charter cruise. We weren’t exactly sure what to expect. My family and I chartered the trip to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday and due to the pandemic was hesitant to be around a lot of people. We so much appreciated the fact that you allowed us to bring our 2-year-old Goldendoodle on the trip. She too had a great time. The trip from beginning to end (3.5 hours) exceeded our expectation. The private charter exceeded our expectation due to the fact of the captain and his first mate’s professionalism, experience, and knowledge about sailing. Captain Andrew’s sailboat is beautiful, and we hope to schedule another charter soon preferably an overnight adventure. Thanks Captain Andrew and Andre—we had a great time.See more..

We booked this trip the night before Memorial Day and were so glad we did. This was a needed mini vacation for our family after COVID quarantine. They online booking and waiver submission was seem less. The operator is following all safety protocol with social distancing and cleaning. The staff was very helpful in explaining the basics in kayaking, where we could go and helped pull our kayaks in and out of the water. North East is also a cute little town to explore with many shops and carry out restaurant opportunities. We loved the serenity of our Kayak adventure. We spotted Osprey, an Eagle, Comorants, and turtles. There is a cute waterfront park nearby with pavilions. We had a picnic lunch there and then ventured on to Elk Neck State Park to see the beach area and lighthouse.See more..

All 3 locations are fantastic in different ways: Dundee Creek tends to be the least busy and most protected from wind, Hammerman Beach is a bit more challenging and boasts lots of wildlife, and Sunset Cove has relatively calm water and a built-in opportunity for beachside lunch/cocktail post row. My husband and I took a SUP lesson 3 years ago (which I would highly recommend before settling sail - you'll save a ton of time and aggravation for yourself) and have been hooked ever since. The staff is lovely and the owner is an absolute GEM. We decided to purchase SUPs for ourselves this year and opted for a set of used boards from Ultimate. They are in great condition and we are always well-taken care of. We will continue to spread our love of SUP with friends and bring them to Ultimate every time!See more..

We were with two other couples for a happy hour and casual dining experience. My 5 stars is based on how well they do with respect to their intended mission and not how they would compare with a gourmet restaurant or high end resort. My choice was their generous bacon cheeseburger which was one of the better ones I have gotten around here. They willingly allowed me to pick a wide range substitutes for the fries. I also compliment the server who was honest enough suggest that we order bottled beer or other drinks because their draft was still coming up to temperature. Our group spread their food and drink orders which were met quickly. They also offer many seating options, most shaded but well ventilated. They also have a play area for children. Their were many customers but this did not hinder service and served as an indication to me of their popularity.See more..
Want to spend a day on the water that is affordable. This is the place. They do not sell fishing licenses. They have bait. My recommendation is rent a boat with the seats. Coves,bridges points to fish. Very relaxing. Remember to bring some food and drinks (alcohol prohibited). Enjoy!See more..

Ultimate Watersports is an excellent place to get your outdoor adventure fix! The new location is super convenient to get to and to park. No entrance or parking fees! Rental and instruction costs are very reasonable. There are bathrooms and picnic tables on site to round out your day. Free lockers available too. We took a one hour SUP lesson and then took our boards out on our own for another hour. Angelina was an amazing teacher. Very patient and very good at explaining how to do everything. I highly recommend trying Stand Up Paddle-boarding at Ultimate Watersports. They will make you feel at ease and help you get up and paddling in no time! It’s great for families, groups, couples or individuals. There are also other types of watercraft available. Life jackets provided. I will definitely be returning! I love Ulitmate Watersports!
