4.5Ego Alley(379 reviews) - Stunning views of the Annapolis Harbor and Spa Creek. Bodies of Water
Small area but how interesting. Ego Alley is a narrow waterway in Annapolis in City Dock area where you can see interesting yachts and views of the Harbor. Very relaxing place about 500 feet in length. Should be one of main destinations while in Annapolis.See more..

4.5Lake Kittamaqundi(159 reviews) - Love this lake! Spent 2-3 hours Bodies of Water • Nature & Wildlife Areas • Gardens
We love this lake for dog walks. The walk around the lake is 1.7 miles and mostly flat. There are other paved paths that lead off from the lake so if you are interested in more distance there are lots of options. If you have dogs, there is a supply of bags for pick up and there are plenty of garbage cans along the way for deposit. My lab likes to swim and there are several entry points for him to take a dip. The lake is home to ducks, geese, and beavers. It is also a favorite spot for fireworks on the 4th. The restaurants on the lake are all very good. There is a major hotel on the lake. There is a spa there and also a Whole Foods. Very safe area with easy access to the mall but also very quiet and isolated. Great for walking, jogging, and bike riding. Super easy for kids because the hills are minimal. We go there several time a month.See more..

4.5Lake Needwood(136 reviews) - A different path to Needwood from Gude Trail Bodies of Water
We’ve been to Lake Needwood several times, and have found it to be overrun with activity and less intimate than we normally like. . . To address this, we decided NOT to drive into the park or bike on the northbound trail that has been our normal course. Instead, we parked at True Respite Brewery off E. Gude Drive and hiked the hilly 1.25-mile long trail to the southeast side of the Lake, which places you on a shaded trail away from the hustle and bustle of weekend family picnics. IT WAS WONDERFUL. After the hike, you can also visit the True Respite Brewery and keep your unconventional outing going in the unassuming office park you started from. See more..

Great swim experience! Rotating logs, ropes, platforms, and diving board. Plenty of tables and sandy beach area to relax and social distance. A little pricey $17 midweek/$20 weekend per person. My only complaint, the swimming pool at the far end was very dirty with hair and debris floating. I asked why? Filtration system wasn’t working very well......(nasty!!! Get it fixed!) Bathrooms with changing rooms, and a cafe available to purchase snacks. Overall, a super fun day out.See more..

4.5Deep Creek Lake(13 reviews) - A PAW-sitively fun weekend at the lake! Bodies of Water
Summertime means boating at Deep Creek Lake with our furbabies! We took our dogs on our Avalon Tritoon Boat out on the beautiful lake that's carved in the quiet rugged mountains of western Maryland the whole weekend. Our dogs loved swimming in the lake filled with sunshine and shimmering water as boats and other happy water-goers glide through the waters. Ahh, the things we do for our pets! A PAW-sitively fun weekend, indeed! See more..
