Girlfriend and I took their 1 hour flight introduction lesson. We bought our package through living social, so we got a great price. Our instructor Brad was great and thoroughly went over all aspects of the plane and our flight. Safety was his utmost concern. We were able to take off, bank left and right, as well as climb and descend, we did it all, expect land, which I prefer to leave to the pros! It was an amazing 1 hour! I had the best time this weekend taking the ASA 101 course for 2 days with Captain Angie. I’ve lived 25 years in the Washington area and I can’t believe I was stupid to wait so long to do this. Yes, it was hot. And yes, there wasn’t a lot of wind in July. But the Catalina 27 that we had gave us plenty of sailing thrills in 4-6 knots of wind. And Captain Angie expertly led us through all the basics of sailing, including raising and lowering the mainsail, tackling and jibing, man-overboard drills, rules of the road, maneuvering in close quarters. Everything was so much easier and safer when learning in light wind anyway. After just 2 days, I feel totally confident taking that boat out on my own, and I can’t wait to do the ASA 103 course on their larger Beneteau or Jenneau boats. With a max of 4 students and 1 instructor outside on the water all day, it’s a perfect ‘staycation’ during the pandemic.See more..
This is my 3rd craft I have participated in at Bertucci's with Hot Pots. The girls are great that run the event and they are well organized. Everything was well planned and ran smoothly. I honestly have a lot of fun with these pottery activities. Always excited to see the final product. Highly recommend. It is fun to have a place to work and break for dinner and then back to complete your project. Of course the downfall to the location is LIGHTING! Very dim so can be somewhat hard to see. But certainly will continue to go as long as their are items I find I want to do.See more..

5.0A Game Golf Academy(1 review) - Great location and instructor Lessons & Workshops My lady friend and I had a the occasion to squeeze in a golf lesson during some nice weather recently and signed up with Steve who happened to be the owner. Since she is a beginner, he worked with her separately. My When I found the academy on the internet, I was impressed with the range of programs available at reasonable prices so I thought we would give it a try. The lesson I received was very helpful. He was able to diagnose a variety of problems that I was having and gave me drills that I could follow up with to keep from falling back into old habits. Another nice feature about the academy was their ability to video tape our swings so we could see right away what we might be doing wrong. The facility is excellent as well. It is located at the driving range at Nutters Crossing Golf course and, if I want to take a lesson while playing, that can be arranged. They also have a variety of instructors available. This is one we will definitely return to.See more..
