    Nearly 140 years ago the small Harford County town of Forest Hill got train service. Several small companies served the area until the beginning of the 20th Century when the Maryland and Pennsylvania system, known locally as the MA & PA took over. This functioned into the 1950s. The train station itself has been well preserved and the grounds well kept. A visit to the nearby Friends Community Park should include the short walk up the street to the station. While the train tracks are no longer there, one can buy the miniature version inside the station, which is now a well stocked model train store. See more..
