There were interesting decorations, an under the sea theme for the indoor and outdoor was fun too. The a/c was kicking, people wore masks while adhering to social distance. The people/staff were friendly. The bathrooms were clean. Several moving objects, not too difficult and virtually guaranteed a hole in one. We had several hole in ones. We also played the 23rd street and 28th in addition to this one. We plan to come back soon and hit the one on 126ish. However the bathrooms were horrid and is telling to me of the behind the scenes of this operation, as if the bathrooms are that dirty how can we believe that the shared helmets are properly wiped down? This is a beautiful carousel at National Harbor. There are many different animals to ride on in addition to the traditional horses (hummingbird, tiger, eagle, polar bear, lion). Children pay a flat fee ($7.00) and receive a wristband that allows them to ride all day. I really liked that. When we went (Mid-week), it was not crowded and my child just stayed on the carousel till she was tired of riding it (about 8 times). I thought that was great. I rode with her (standing) since she is small and I was not charged an extra fee. There are picnic tables to sit at near the carousel. There is a little shade. A parking lot with meters is nearby. And there are parking garages in the National Harbor complex. I would definitely go back to this carousel.See more..

This was a good activity to do outdoors with kids. However, there were only two tracks so we purchased the $65 package for 4 of us (two adults and two kids age 10 and 13) and we had more then enough tickets. There was a vending machine indoors to buy drinks. However, I wish there were more tracks offered we got kind of bored with the only two options. We were there for 2 hours and that was enough time. I also think they need to do a better job wiping down the cars after each rider. I know this may be time consuming but it should be done and I did not see this happening.See more..

We went on a Saturday late winter morning. The gate was closed but we parked in front and went easily around. (There is an area to go around gate for pedestrians). We were the only ones there. It was pretty amazing- nicely taken care of and there is a new playground there as well for any of the little ones that don’t want to do the slide. Picnic tables as well. There were at least 7-8 burlap sacks for you to use as well. The slide goes really fast -especially as an adult! The kids make it look so easy! There is also a little area where u can donate a little cash which goes towards the maintenance of the slide. We all had fun and we highly recommend this activity. See more..

This is an excellent way to wear out two overactive boys. There is a multitude of walls with climbing hold built into fantastic murals. Each wall has safety rope that connects to your climbing harness. Before you climb an instructor briefs you and fits your harness. With each climb you attach the safety rope before climbing. If you fall the rope will gently lower you to the floor. I saw people from 5 years old to adults climbing the walls and having fun. It cost $17 for 90 minutes which is enough time for your first trial. If you think you might come back I would suggest the purchase of the climbing gloves to protect your hands. The place is tucked back in a warehouse park and a bit hard to find. Just drive until the road almost ends.See more..

I'll disclaim by saying I've only used the driving range and find it to be a good value and the location is exceptionally convenient. The surrounding nature and clear sky view is excellent. I'm grateful to have the option to be in the shade too. I've seen baby deer in the backfield, frogs, and birds. But if you're not just there for the scenery like me, you may have more to say. They could do a better job with the litter, a lot of the balls are worn and split and the tees are old. I'm sure if they invested in updating the place, the business would follow to make up for it.See more..

Shane was our teacher, and he did a wonderful job of explaining the correct posture and stance, and how to successfully use the equipment. As we were shooting, he helped to correct issues as they arose and wanted to make sure we were doing the right things to be successful. He didn't hover, but created an atmosphere where we could shoot but we could ask for additional help when needed. Most of our group had some archery experience so it was a nice balance. The range itself is interesting with a mix of regular targets and 3-D targets. When I called the confirm, I was told to "dress for the outdoors" as the shed has a heater, but it still was rather cold so we were glad we were prepared. Our family had a great experience. There is a tip jar by the front desk- we hadn't thought about that and didn't have any cash- we ran out to a local ATM and brought a tip back. Well worth it for our experience.See more..
