3.5Kiddie Crusoe(47 reviews) - Great fun for little kids Saturday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Playgrounds
Huge location but can get crowded when they have lots of birthday parties, need to add more swings as there was a line waiting for swings. Lots of climbing equipment and little stations for kids to engage in creative playSee more..
4.5Idlewild Park(44 reviews) - Great park for kids Spent 2-3 hours Parks • Gardens • Playgrounds

Lots for kids to do, and there's a separate tot lot as well as a sandbox. Easy to get to, plenty of parking. Bathrooms on site, although there are bathrooms at the adjacent zoo. Clean, too. Highly recommended.See more..
These are essentially 3 eggs, some varied rib bones by height and a head. However, it kept a 10 and 6 year old busy for 30 minutes. They were on there scooters, went to play, and returned to scooters. They play in sand, talked to other kids and climbed. It's not amazing like amusement parks but any age can participate and any landing if they jump is soft. It is fantastic for allowing creative, turned off play. And that it's free. Can't beat it. 4.5Stansbury Park(14 reviews) - Great neighborhood park Parks • Playgrounds
One is impressed by the community garden at the park entrance, aaluable local resource. In fact one can see the neighborhood bordering the park in some places, but one can look in other directions to see fields for recreation, picnics and walking. The lake at the end of the road is the highlight, definitely making one forget the urban landscape on the roads around the area. Several people were fishing. I could hear an occasional fish jump out in the water, but not sure if anyone was actually catching them. Good paved path for hiking around the lake. The only challenge was trash. both large barrels at the pier were overflowing, there was a scattering of cups, bags and such around the grounds. Overall the setting is relaxing and pleasant.See more..
4.5Laurel Springs Park(14 reviews) - ADA accessible playground Spent 1-2 hours Parks • Playgrounds • Jogging Paths & Tracks What I love about this park is the playground has various elements designed for ADA accessibility. For example, there are swings with harnesses and lap bars designed to hold a child in place. There is also an extensive interconnecting set of ramps and runways that kids love to run on but they probably don’t realize it’s also designed so kids in wheelchairs can wheel the ramps and walkways too. Very well done playground! As others have mentioned, there is are various sports fields for soccer, softball, football so during the sports seasons expect major crowds on a Saturday morning. Weekdays and Sundays are a great time to visit and have peaceful playtime on the playground with easy parking.See more..
4.5Giant Slide(13 reviews) - Awesome fun for all ages! Playgrounds • Game & Entertainment Centers
We went on a Saturday late winter morning. The gate was closed but we parked in front and went easily around. (There is an area to go around gate for pedestrians). We were the only ones there. It was pretty amazing- nicely taken care of and there is a new playground there as well for any of the little ones that don’t want to do the slide. Picnic tables as well. There were at least 7-8 burlap sacks for you to use as well. The slide goes really fast -especially as an adult! The kids make it look so easy! There is also a little area where u can donate a little cash which goes towards the maintenance of the slide. We all had fun and we highly recommend this activity. See more..
5.0Angel Park(13 reviews) - Beautiful park Playgrounds
Park was constructed in memory of children who have passed. Beautiful park worth spending time with your children thereSee more..
We visited The Ultimate Playzone while passing through Cockeysville on a road trip and were very happy with the place. It's open from 10am-12pm for kids 6 and under and just $7 (free for adults). It's a large warehouse type place with giant inflatables and playhouses with slides. I appreciate that they have a separate time slot for "little kids" to keep them from being trampled by the "big kids". P.s. The staff was kind enough to lend my son a pair of socks to wear on their bounce houses since he came in flip flops.See more..
4.5Savage Park(6 reviews) - Road Trip to Maryland Spent < 1 hour Parks • Playgrounds
We had a ball in this open space with my children. The grounds are well kept and given the time families were still out and were occupying various corners of the park. This ground is beautiful for younger children, young adults, teenagers, adults and just families who are looking to be outside to enjoy a beautiful day. It’s very close to my hotel and very convenient for me and my children. Overall I am pleased to be able to visit this perfect hideaway. See more..

4.0Lane Manor Park(1 review) - Good recreation area but special for wildflowers in the early spring Saturday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Parks • Playgrounds
Lane Manor is right off University Boulevard, near the University of Maryland. It has a drive up to the parking area, a playground, a lot of barbecue grills, and a big field bordered by woods. It is next to the Lane Manor Splash Park. The area up near the parking has a lot of large trees, so that's great for shade and it's pretty. When I have been I have seen a lot of families grilling out and playing. A big drawback is there is a lot of litter on the ground. However, the main reason I visit is in the early spring to see the celandines. These are little yellow wildflowers that grow in wettish areas. Parts of the park are just carpeted with them. It's really magical. There's a stream with celandines all on the bank. I have seen deer there too. So go whenever to let the kids run around, grill some dinner - but go in early april for the celandines.See more..

4.0Calvert Regional Park(1 review) - Lacrosse tournament State Parks • Parks • Playgrounds We came here for a lacrosse tournament. The fields were in good condition and the park had plenty of portable restrooms and food vendors.
