  5. 4.0 Trimper Rides and Amusement Park (672 reviews)
    - Best Place To Unwind In Ocean City Maryland
Temporarily closed - Closed until Apr 8, 2023 Amusement & Theme Parks
Trimper Rides and Amusement Park image
Trimper Rides is the premiere amusement park on the boardwalk in Ocean City, MD. Located between the Inlet and South Division Street in Downtown Ocean City, guests can enjoy rides, games and carnival style foods. In many ways Trimper Rides is just as much a museum as it is an amusement park. Some rides/amusements have been in the park for several decades, and the crown jewel is the more than 100-year-old Herschell-Spillman Carousel featuring a myriad of hand carved animals, not just the traditional carousel horse. The carousel alongside many other rides, walls, benches, and other trinkets throughout the park are hand painted with beautiful figures, landscapes, and characters. The park features rides and games for all ages. It boasts the Tidal Wave roller coaster, a Himalaya and for part of the summer season the 150 foot Big Wheel. Visitors to the park return year after year to delight in nostalgia, excitement, and togetherness. See more..

Visited Jolly Roger while in OC and don't regret it. Yes, it's expensive. Yes, it's crowded. My kids had fun on the rides, so it was worth it! It is expensive, so be ready! Go at night to see everything lit up - highly recommend. See more..
  8. 4.5 Miniature Train and Carousel at Wheaton Regional Park (43 reviews)
    - A treasure for anyone with young children!

Miniature Train and Carousel at Wheaton Regional Park image
I've taken numerous children over the years and each and every one of them wants to return. The two rides are so much fun for them, but the playground is one of the best around. It's so enormous that children can truly run around! For the most part, the park is full of well-behaved children with caretakers who warn the older kids to watch out for the smaller ones. Tons of picnic tables, although I must say I normally go during the week - I'm sure the picnic table situation is a lot tougher on Saturdays and Sundays. So bring a large blanket...there's tons of room to spread out. See more..

  11. 2.0 Paradise of Fun (1 review)
    - Four blow up structures, depressing place
    Amusement & Theme Parks
We went on a weekday. The place had four structures open, toys, other things were messy. Half of the space was empty. Floor was not clean, place relatively cold. We left after 30 minutes. For a 3 year it might be entertaining for longer... The price was $5 for 30 minutes- a lot for what was there. See more..
