The trip was awesome. The river was somewhat low in the morning, but double the flow coming back. 100° plus weather and man did the getting wet coming back feel good. We aren't the people who normally hire a house but we wanted to see wildlife and knew that hiring someone who was familiar with what to see and where to go was our ticket to a great experience. From the minute Adam met us, he began teaching us about the geology, biological diversity, and wildlife found in the park. We learned so much and saw so much. He knew where to go and when to be there. Our highlights were hearing the wolves howl and seeing the bear and her cub. Not to mention the bison, pronghorn, coyote, pika, pine martin, and various birds. We had a wonderful day and took his suggestions on how to spend the following day. It all added up to an extra special Yellowstone visit. One we will never forget.See more..

Deb and Kevin were terrific. Really genuine people who provided an excellent family experience. One aspect of their business that I was especially appreciative of was their willingness to take my son, who is a very confident little 7 year old. I wanted him to have the experience of riding a horse in the county as I did when I was young and visiting the Tetons; Kevin quite honestly could not have been a better person for the task. He has a terrific combination of personality and patience. I also appreciated that when we got to our lunch spot he had three trained black bears in a tree waiting (just kidding, of course) - but the coincidence was uncanny. I loved that we still got off our horses and enjoyed lunch in that same spot despite the bears. My 7 year old quietly pulled out his swiss army knife in case he had to defend us. Amazing trip! What a wonderful experience for our family! There were eight guides for 22 of us and they were each so experienced and hard working, always polite and gracious with smiles on their faces. They did it all--guide, row the oar boats, supervise the paddle boat and kayaks, gave casting and fishing lessons, rescued another company's stuck "sweep" boat, pitched tents, cooked gourmet meals, played the guitar, threw horseshoes, and created a fabulous obstacle course game at camp one night. Allie was our trip guide and was superbly well prepared and experienced-easygoing but underneath, you knew she had it all under control. Would highly recommend this trip if you are looking for a rafting trip in the wilderness!See more..
Jet boat trip in Hell's canyon. We caught sturgeon,bass, and trout.our guide{ Peyton} was very knowledgeable about the history of the canyon and how to catch fish. this was a family outing of 6 including two grand kids 12 and 16 who caught bass and trout. words can't explain how great experience this was. We sent out kids to the 1/2 day kids camp and they each caught at least 1 fish. They couldn't stop talking about their day and the fun they had with their 'guide', Tatum. Two days later they were still talking about her and how she helped them catch a fish. The ride on the bus was fun for them and they were so excited we ended up buying gear to commemorate the day. They took a couple of pictures of the kids so we could see the fun they had and the smiles were ear-to-ear.See more..

My family (2 adults/5 teens) just returned from a 6 day/5 night Main Salmon trip with the Aggipah crew. We initially prioritized a local company with an established reputation and knowledge of the river/area. There are numerous reviews below that go into great detail describing the awesome food, fun inflatable kayak availability and comfortable tents/campsites that are all included with an Aggipah trip. Just like everyone else already said, we also truly had the trip of a lifetime. Stephanie and Bill answered all our questions beforehand and have an immeasurable amount of local knowledge that they share throughout the week. Everything from the initial communication to the travel transfers went seamlessly. Each guide had something different to offer, and all were 100% top notch (Thanks Brian, Graham, Jamie and Sidney!). We had such an amazing trip on the Payette! Our guide, Freddie Bailey went above and beyond to assure our safety. We had people from 58-82 yrs of age and each one was watched over with care. We’re requesting Freddie on our next trip! Sally was an experienced driver, gave helpful tips, and was very personable. Wisdom was applied for the delicious lunch. Instead of eating on a beach with many bees and wasps, we ate at the pullout in peace. Don’t pass up this trip!See more..

We loved having a house on the water. The children kayaked, paddle boarded, canoed, and paddle boated to their hearts content. The lower loop of Yellowstone never disappoints. It was a spectacular day in the park. Yellowstone horses at a ranch in Island Park was a fun and beautiful ride! 6 from our group drove to the Grand Tetons for a 10 mile hike around Jenny Lake that they loved. There were 32 of us in 5 houses that were relatively close to each other and we mostly potlucked lunch and dinner together with one meal out in West Yellowstone. Everyone loved the trip!See more..

6th river trip with ARTA, 3rd time down the Main Salmon! Once again, we had an excellent trip. This river is a "gem". There is big whitewater, swimmable eddies, great scenery with plenty of wildlife, white sandy beaches where you can sleep under the stars. The food is healthy and super delicious! ARTA's guides are first rate - safety is always first, but to a one, every guide we have had has been personable, knowledgeable, kind and responsive. My husband and I had visited Idaho for our honeymoon and I have spent every moment since then trying to get back. I wanted to take my mom and brother back as I knew that Covid Craziness would be less noticeable in a locale with fewer people, like Northern Idaho. While we are not fly fisherman, I really wanted to try a river float with lunch to show my family how quiet and beautiful Idaho can be. Aaron called and emailed with me before the trip to make sure that he was fully prepared for our visit. The wood boat was absolutely beautiful, and the water couldn't have been more calm. Aaron did all the work by telling us all about life in northern Idaho, about the history and ecology of the area, and gave us a beautiful lunch.
