3.5MGM National Harbor(781 reviews) - Table minimums have gotten crazy Sunday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Spent 2-3 hours Casinos
I know they are trying to recover from being closed during the pandemic, but raising table minimums to $100.00 on Pai Gow is ridiculous. This was on a Thursday afternoon. As soon as the table filled up they started raising the minimum bet. We went from$25. To $100 in about two hours. Everyone got up and left.See more..
3.5FedExField(356 reviews) - It could be sooo much better with transportation options Sunday: Arenas & Stadiums
Fedex field is cool. It's nice, and has good food. Yet getting there is almost impossible! There is NO public transportation options, and parking ranges from $40 to $75. At least bus services need to operate, especially during events! See more..
We just moved to the area and passed this beach a few times. We read a ton of reviews and were nervous. I read reviews religiously and was afraid we would have a bad experience because of what others had said - But I was pleasantly, PLEASANTLY surprised. We had a great time! It’s a simple bay beach. The water is warm, there is space to swim and the park is huge. We came here on a Wednesday and it wasn’t crowded at all. As long as you come and think of it as a bay, and not Miami Beach, you’ll have a really nice time for $5. The water is bay water and there are no waves but its not a huge deal at all. The bathrooms - yeah those are gross - but overall this is really great park. See more..

3.0Hollywood Casino(221 reviews) - Don't expect Las Vegas Casinos
After reading several recent negative reviews on TR, I was hesitant about my visit. Yes, the casino is very small. However, contrary to other descriptions, the staff were pleasant. After 4 hours of gambling on various slot machines, I found that they were no tighter or looser than similar slots at other casinos. There was a Green Turtle restaurant in the casino, and a bar, but there were no roaming drink servers. You can join a player's club to accrue points, although I was not offered any kind of explanation about the rewards. Joining the club does give you an opportunity to have $10-100 added to your card in your birthday month. Due to local jurisdictional decisions, no masks were required. Staff members pushed chairs in but were not as diligent about wiping down slots as I have seen in other casinos recently. There is no attached hotel.See more..
3.5North Beach(154 reviews) - Pleasant day trip from DC Beaches
I was looking to get out of the city on a warmer-than-average winter day, and remembered North Beach in Chesapeake Beach, as I visited when I first moved to the DC area years ago, but had not been back since. It is less than an hour drive, and being winter, it was fairly easy to find a parking spot. Me and my partner had lunch at a Seafood restaurant and then we walked around the boardwalk a checked out a few of the little stores, coffee shops, etc. and bought a few things. There is a little section of beach, but again, it being winter, that was not as appealing. This is little town is certain worth a day trip from the DC metro area.See more..

3.5Breezy Point Beach(90 reviews) - Great beach for a little day trip Beaches
You can't beat this little bayfront park for a one-hour trip from the northern Virginia region. Forget the bridge traffic if you're just looking for a place to lay out, take a quick dip, and relax. There is a netted swimming area, so you can't go past about 4.5' deep, but it's very refreshing and nice to not have to worry about jellyfish. There are grills, restrooms, and lots of parking. If you want to try fishing or crabbing, there is also a little pier. Make sure to pack a picnic and drinks though--there isn't much else around once you get down to the park. Admission rates are currently $10 per adult on the weekend.See more..
3.5Jolly Roger at the Pier(87 reviews) - Beautiful at night - expensive Amusement & Theme Parks

3.0Maryland House Travel Plaza(80 reviews) - Mostly Closed at 10pm on Thursday Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks
All the restaurants were closed when I stopped in on my way to DC. Had to settle for either an expensive sandwich or assorted super-expensive chips, energy bars or the like. I found some ridiculous candy confection for under $3. The cashier was a super friendly young woman just starting her night shift. She was in excellent spirits for someone facing an entire night in such a bleak environment.See more..

3.5Spa in the Valley(68 reviews) - Great Experience Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spas
Visited this spa as a girl's weekend for my friend's birthday. It was so relaxing! I definitely recommend. Their Tuscan (waiting room) has a zen ambience and spa or steam room if you'd rather indulge while waiting. I got a full body stress-fix massage from Lucy. She's was very pleasant and professional. Barbara did my dermalogica mini facial. My face felt and looked amazing!! I'll definitely be back for that. Con: A bit priceySee more..
3.5White Marsh Mall(58 reviews) - Average mall on the way Shopping Malls
If you are driving to Delaware or points north from DC, this mall will be right on I-95 about 15-20 minutes from Baltimore. It has been there for a long time with shops and food court, just an average mall kind of detached from big cities like Baltimore and Wilmington. It does the job but it will not dazzle you in any way.See more..
This needs to be said, since this is a four lane pkwy, i.e., two lanes north, a median and two lanes south...PEOPLE...please stop riding side by side with cars in the next lane and you have plenty of space ahead of you. if you are sightseeing, stay to the right. I only say this because further up the parkway is an airport. Stop holding people up, who are possibly trying to catch a flight. For the smart allecks out there who are saying, they should've left earlier, yeah, they typically do. But because it is two lanes in one direction, there is always bound to be an accident. There are also deer heavily on the road and traffic entering/exiting. Just be mindful and not purposely getting in someone's way. It doesn't expand into three lanes until Arundel Mills. This can be a really long drive during a short span of miles. BE CONSIDERATE.See more..
3.5Cadillac Ranch(47 reviews) - BBQ and bull riding Sunday: 11:00 AM - 12:00 AM Bars & Clubs
Our first stop at the National Harbor was to lunch at the Cadillac Ranch. It was a fun atmosphere with kitschy decor AND mechanical Bull riding! Of course I had to try it. It was fun. The menu is Texas BBQ with big juicy steaks, burgers and ribs—a few salads and pasta. The food was great and our server was nice but apparently there was NO bartender. So..our server had to make the drinks herself which caused a very long delay for each round. Note to management: this is very unacceptable! See more..

3.5Xscape 14(42 reviews) - Love coming to this theater Sunday: 9:30 AM - 11:00 PM Movie Theaters
I am a regular at this theater. I loved it from the time it opened it became my first choice in movie theaters instead of going all the way to the Hoffman or AMC in Shirlington, VA. Ticket prices are reasonable for the comfortability they afford, concession is slightly high, but it is a movie theater, so it is to be expected. The only complaint I have is that the theater has been cold every time I have gone. It's almost to the point that you want to bring a blanket or wear more layers of clothing especially in the winter when it is already freezing outside. I would recommend bringing a throw blanket to keep from being cold but other than that this theater is outstanding.See more..
3.0Regal Westminster 9(42 reviews) - My only theater, by choice Sunday: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM Movie Theaters I just glanced on here and saw all of these negative reviews so I thought I'd put one in. First I will agree that the negative points mentioned are mostly true. It is small, no stadium seating, out dated, dirty?(I don't really think so, but who cares). Anyway, I do live in Carroll County and it is the only game in town. But I have two other theaters within 20 minutes that are much nicer. Why do I choose Westminster? Because they don't put up with low life garbage. When I watch a movie I want to hear it, not some group of jerks talking to each other the whole time. The management at Westminster will shut that crap down in an instant. Their customer service is awesome and they cater to people like me who want to see a movie and not have to deal with a bunch of low class idiots trying to ruin it for everyone. Thank you, Westminster regal. You are my only theater.See more..
Great swim experience! Rotating logs, ropes, platforms, and diving board. Plenty of tables and sandy beach area to relax and social distance. A little pricey $17 midweek/$20 weekend per person. My only complaint, the swimming pool at the far end was very dirty with hair and debris floating. I asked why? Filtration system wasn’t working very well......(nasty!!! Get it fixed!) Bathrooms with changing rooms, and a cafe available to purchase snacks. Overall, a super fun day out.See more..
We finished off our weekend here with Sunday Brunch. The American decor is traditional and the menu is Southern. The service was a little slow. The food was perfect. Everyone was very pleased with there orders. I had the Eggs Benedict on crab cakes and they were delicious! We had to ask for refills on tea and coffee and the wait and wait. Otherwise it was an enjoyable brunch experience. See more..
3.5Ocean City Golf & Yacht Club(37 reviews) - 2 18 hole courses to suit your playing preference Sunday: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Points of Interest & Landmarks • Golf Courses
Played Seaside 4/27/21. Course was well manicured and the greens were about 2 weeks post aerification. Seaside is the oldest course of the Eastern Shore (built 1959) and is a traditional (some think boring) style course. I would recommend Seaside if you are looking to play a traditional style course and Newport Bay if you are looking for more resort style course. Pace of play was good and food / beverage is available at the clubhouse.See more..

3.0Relache Spa(35 reviews) - Spa facilities are fantastic, while the nail station... Spas
Five days on an intense business trip meant doing a little care for the soul -- I had a massage and a manicure. The spa area for the massage was top-notch: gorgeous waiting room with a beautiful view and a nice selection of teas and snacks. The massage was good -- not the best I've had but still very good. The nail/hair salon is across the hotel/convention hallway and it didnt match the plushness or elegance of the spa area. The manicure was fine, just not worth the $55 (including the tacked on service fee). The services are definitely VERY pricey and while I understand why the service fee is automatic, that doesn't always guarantee a quality experience. When you know the gratuity is coming to you, why should you work any harder? See more..

3.5AMC Movie Theater(34 reviews) - More like a 3.5 Spent 2-3 hours Movie Theaters The added bar is a nice touch however the number of non-working recliners and heated seats seem to continue to grow. 3.5DeJon Winery(34 reviews) - New Winery that we'd go to again Sunday: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM Wineries & Vineyards
We really enjoyed meeting the winemakers and hearing their story of hardship & triumph to fulfill their dream. So happy for them to have won some awards on their wines, especially being so new. Love the huge and new warehouse-like tasting room with PLENTY of entertainment & relaxing space. It was a rainy day when we were there and their grass hadn't come in yet but once it does I know it'll look great! We're always very happy when wineries let our well-behaved & socialized Chow Chow puppy come into the tasting area so we can sit, enjoy and take in all there is. Went there for my son's birthday party. Check-in and event went very smoothly, and all the boys had LOADS of fun. The ONLY suggestion I would make, and why I didn't give it 5 stars, is there were no options for longer than one hour of play time. There's so much to do here, and the boys weren't ready to go into the party room after only one hour. A 90-minute play period would be much better.See more..

3.0Town Mall of Westminster(28 reviews) - Shopping trip to Belk (3 out of 5) Spent 2-3 hours Shopping Malls
Housing 1 of only 3 Belk stores in all of Maryland, I fervently rushed out to visit the Belk store in this shopping mall located at Westminster. It was here that I was able to take advantage of a 70% off sale on a pair of shorts ($14.04) and 60% off sale on a shirt ($11.80). Under $30 for a pair of shorts and a matching shirt to go with it is what I call a good value in this day and age. However, the store did seem like a barren wasteland as I encountered the decaying shadow of consumer culture past that eerily followed me around with every step I made. But hey, my receipt tells me I paid a little more than $27 and that I saved a little over $42 so I take that as a win. With over 50 adverstised stores in this mall's directory along with Santa photos and Polar Express movie tickets events, this mall is far from dead.See more..

3.5Moll Dyer Rock(27 reviews) - So it's a rock Points of Interest & Landmarks
Yep, it's a rock. It's got a cool story attached to it, but strangely there's no plaque or anything nearby to tell the story. Still, kind of a neat little tourist trap for a small town.See more..
I used to visit this mall all the time as a kid with my Mom & Grandma. So, I hold fond memories of it. Now that I'm grown, I thought it would be nice to make a return visit with my kids and my Mom. This visit we were not very impressed with the mall. It has some decent shops left like Boscov's. We thought the Burlington here was just OK. However, the rest of the mall just seemed unimpressive. The kids play area was gone. It seemed there were empty or closed up store fronts. I miss the old Montgomery Ward that used to be here ages ago. Also, I noticed that there is a Chuck E. Cheese in the mall now, but there is NO entrance that I could see from the mall. So, we did NOT even notice it until we were driving around the mall to leave. Overall, it is just an OK mall. IF you are in the area, it will do, but there are better malls to be found.See more..

3.5Speedway(26 reviews) - Super Fun Auto Racing Tracks
This place is a great size with plenty of parking and seating. The stadium seats may not be the most comfortable you've sat on but you can bring something soft if you need it and there isn't really a bad seat in the house. The concessions are reasonably priced for an event like this (and the ice cream is amazing), but some places are cash only. No worries, there is an ATM. It's safe for the entire family.See more..
3.5Triple Creek Winery(25 reviews) - Balloon and Wine festival Sunday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Wineries & Vineyards
We LOVED the balloons, the food, the music and all the vendors were awesome! The parking fees of $35 for corn field VIP parking was ridiculous, but thankfully we didn't park in the lots were u have to get a ride (HUGE LINES)! The wine offered was limited and expensive. I was very disappointed that I brought 13 people with me and the winery ran out of glasses! We paid a lot of money and traveled 2 1/2 hours with three first time wine festival goers and they couldn't even get a souvenir wine glass! Poor planning! See more..
3.0AMC Loews Lexington Park 6(25 reviews) - Family friendly movie theater, with a bar Spent 2-3 hours Movie Theaters This theater is very comfortable and cozy. The reclining seats were a nice touch, it made watching a movie feel very comfortable. This movie theater has a bar, which was nice to enjoy a cocktail while watching a movie. However, the drink prices were a little expensive, but what do you expect when you are at a movie theater! The theater itself was small, which could be a positive or a negative, depending on the situation. We had a group of around 6 people and we were the only ones in the theater, which was great. The bartender was slow and did not know how to make drinks without looking at the bar card. The popcorn was ok, not too hot but we were able to add our own butter which made it flavorful. Overall this was a great movie theater experience.See more..
