3 adults and 2 young boys set off to celebrate an 8 year old's birthday. They caught many bass and 2 sturgeon, one of which measured more than 7 feet in length. None of them had ever experienced an adventure like this and I have been assured that "forever memories" were created this day! The 2 guides (or driver and guide) were amazing and very patient with the kids and gave the entire party an incredible experience! Would highly recommend Snake River Adventures!See more..
5.0White Cloud Rafting Adventures(633 reviews) - Stoked on the Salmon River Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Fishing Charters & Tours
Best river guide and paddle man in the biz - ask for Wet Willie and he’ll take you to the splash zone. The river bends to his will and you will not be disappointed with his deep knowledge of the class III and IV rapids. Set your river dreams on fire and get down to the raft launch during the heavy season after the snow melts. Stanley, ID definitely grabs you by the imagination and gives you a taste of what the wagon trains and gold rush may have done for the minds of the settlers. 10/10 will come back and ask for Will aka Wet Willie so we can do a long haul trip with camping and food included. #wewillreturn #wetwilliestyle #idahoSee more..

Tackled the class 4 white water rafting trip today. Staff were very friendly right from the start. We felt confident in our guide (Andrew) as he took us down the River. He shared some history about the river, pointed out scenery, and told some good corny jokes. If you’re willing to have fun, enjoy the outdoors, and have some thrill then go on this trip! I definitely recommend going in June when water is high- bigger rapids!See more..

The trip was awesome. The river was somewhat low in the morning, but double the flow coming back. 100° plus weather and man did the getting wet coming back feel good. The day was packed with scenery, big horn sheep, bears and deer. The drivers kept the jet boats in best part of the river and added great information along the way...See more..
This is my third jet boat trip to Hell’s Canyon. By far the best. We had 7 of my family members on this trip. The guide and Captain Rick’s personal family history recounted during the day was a very nice touch. Becky was extremely attentive to customer needs was very engaging and a real delight. My father is 85 and his wife although younger does not get around as well. Becky made certain that they had all the extra help they needed at each stage of the trip without them feeling self conscious. Captain Rick had the best boat handling skills of any of the three commercial trips that I have taken. He was also more courteous to others on the river and worked hard to not take away from their experience on the water. I highly recommend River Adventures if you are looking into a trip up Hell’s Canyon. Next time we will try the lower Salmon.See more..
5.0Payette River Company(429 reviews) - Fantastic adventure awaits Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing
Payette River company made this experience so special. We had two couples in our group, all of us over 60 yrs, and we will be talking of this experience for many years to come. The owners and guides are very friendly and helpful. It is very obvious that they enjoy what they do. We had a BLAST! The only hard part for us was carrying the boat around the class 6 rapid. The provided lunch was very good and even the bus ride was fun with oldies rock playing loudly and everyone singing along. I can’t recommend it more highly.See more..

The Lower Falls can be accessed by a 2-mile return nature trail hike or go back to the main road and drive a short distance. The sign is past the exit. The walk to the Lower Falls is a very short one from the parking lot. There's also a vault toilet there.See more..

Our guide, Will Small, was wonderful at teaching us techniques and encouraging us with each cast and catch. We rafted and fished about 11 beautiful miles of the Salmon River and are now waiting, with baited breath (pun intended), for our next fly fishing adventure. Thanks so much guys!!!See more..
5.0Idaho River Journeys(340 reviews) - Fabulous in every way! Wednesday: 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Fishing Charters & Tours • Sightseeing Tours
Everything was take care of. Travel arrangements were super easy. The guides were excellent - fun, experienced and helpful - and the food was extraordinarily good. They set up camp, loaded and unloaded the rafts, cooked, guiding the boats, led hikes, helped the novice kayakers and fly fishermen, and made it all look easy. This was a stellar experience, in nature, completely unplugged, spending time with old friends and making new friends. IRJ is a first-class operation.See more..

5.0Cascade Raft & Kayak(306 reviews) - Wonderful Day on the Payette with Cascade Raft & Kayak Co. Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks • Kayaking & Canoeing
We have long wanted to raft the Canyon section of the South Fork of the Payette River and finally were able to swing it in late August. We had high expectations and these were met, and then some, by Cascade Raft & Kayak Company. Our guide, Shane and accompanying kayaker Sebastian, were wonderful. Shane was experienced, friendly, knowledgeable, and humorous. We will request him to guide us again on our next trip. The trip has four Class IV and several Class III rapids, with stops at some hot springs and a nice beach for lunch. It was a great mix of occasional excitement, mellow floating and great scenery. Anne was extremely patient and helpful answering all our questions by email before booking the trip. And the prices in their store were very reasonable. We would highly recommend this trip and doing it with Cascade Raft & Kayak Co.See more..

5.0Silver Streak Zipline Tours(276 reviews) - Superb for a first time Zipper. Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks
We were a group of 5 ranging from ages 13 to 71 and without exception everyone had a fantastic time thanks to the guys at Silver Streak and the amazing ziplines they offered. We did them all including the Big Daddy. The staff were very professional and dedicated to making sure our experience was a great success. The ziplines were all exciting and got better with each succeeding line. I highly recommend Silver Streak Zipline Tours to anyone considering this type of event while in the great little berg of Wallace. Happy Zipping.See more..
I knew nothing about Wallace, ID before our road trip to Glacier NP. Since we had 3 nieces (10 to 14 years old) with us, we stopped in Wallace for a few hours since it offers some fun things to do, one of which is the mine tour. We did the last tour (4pm - I called ahead, since I didn't know when we would arrive. They took my name down and I paid in person). The tour starts in the middle of town, and their store offers souvenir shopping and ice cream - we did both. $49 per family (2 adults and up to 4 kids) is reasonable. We rode on the green trolley, and Lee (former miner, now tour guide) gave the tour once we arrived at the mine. We learnt about the silver mining history and operations; there were some real tools for demonstration inside the mine. Afterward the trolley took us around town and the driver (Rob? he was funny) gave us a quick tour and history of Wallace. Overall I thought it was a well spent 90 minutes. See more..

5.0Teton Valley Lodge(244 reviews) - Great Spring Fishing Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM Multi-day Tours • Fishing Charters & Tours • Private Tours • Day Trips
I wanted to try an early spring fishing trip before the summer crowds showed up. We booked two days of fishing on April 18th and 19th. The weather was horrid. Wind, rain, cold, etc. However, our guide Nate Burr was terrific. He rowed his butt off and put us on a lot of large Rainbows and Browns. He was patient, funny, and very safe in some tricky conditions. My buddy and I enjoyed the two days very much and will come back again and again.See more..
5.0Mountain River Outfitters(230 reviews) - One Day Salmon/Steelhead Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Boat Tours • Fishing Charters & Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours
We travelled from Miami, Washington DC and New York City to experience this adventure. I grew up in western Oregon and always heard of, yet never experienced the Snake River/Hells Canyon area. You must see it to believe it. We had grand visions of catching salmon and keeping enough for dinner, even planned a menu around it! Like Peyton said if it were easy it would be called “catching” rather than fishing. Honestly landing a salmon was secondary, getting to experience this part of the world made it worth the journey. Kudos to Peyton and Sean who had a boat load of amateurs; we kept them busy freeing snagged lines, untangling knots and countless other blunders. While not successful at catching salmon we did pretty good with the bass. My daughter, the NYC flight attendant was angler of the day, all we heard from her was “caught another one”. The bass tasted great and made a fitting end to an excellent trip. Already planning next year’s adventure.See more..
5.0Bear Valley Rafting(216 reviews) - Best Rafting Trip Ever River Rafting & Tubing
Rafting with Bear Valley was hands down the best day of our week long vacation in Idaho as well as the best rafting trip we've ever been on. We went on the full day South Fork Payette trip. I knew it was going to be a fun trip when our guide Howie walked up and said "Howdy, y'all!" and his helmet was unique as you can see in the photo. He was skilled, funny, and entertaining which made the trip that much more enjoyable. Lunch was tasty and a nice break. Didn't hurt that 11 Marine recruiters were in the other 2 rafts and lunched with us. God bless America! Melody & SamSee more..

5.0High Mountain Adventures(193 reviews) - Incredible Experience! Staff, Equipment, and Location were Amazing! Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Gear Rentals
We rented (4) 650 RMK Pro 155s and (1) 850 RMK Pro 155 From High Mountain Adventures January 20-21 with the Bed & Sled discount. I can't miss an opportunity to talk about all the staff at High Mountain Adventure. Their professionalism and efficiency with check-in/out were incredible. Hands down it was the best I have ever experienced. Hyper efficient! it was obvious they knew what they were doing. A well-oiled machine. We returned one sled with minor damage (cracked plastic). The staff was professional and patient. He looked up the part on the spot and we paid for the replacement. Over the years I have rented multiple boats, ATVs, RVs, sleds and this is the first time I was treated with this level of respect, understanding, and fairness with a mishap. I can't say enough good things about the High Mountain Adventure team. Please keep it up and we will definitely be back.See more..
From the booking process through to the last stop for brownies in their restaurant we had a great adventure with White Otter. We did it as a family of 5 and everyone had a great experience. Our Raft Guide Sam, a friendly and informative college kid on summer break, not only tough us the rafting skills but told us a lot about the environment that we were traveling through. On top of the rafting / rapids fun, two highlights were a quick stop to rock jump and quietly floating by 3 deer who were at the river's edge. We paid for "a photo" ahead of time and for the same price ending up with full gallery of shots that are instant-classic family photos.See more..

What a perfect 3 hours in Boise! This cultural culinary tour far exceeded my expectations! I'm guessing it will be hard to beat anywhere. Well paced. Seven culinary experiences plus education on other possibilities. Lots of Boise/Idaho education. Any question that was asked was greeted with an in depth interested answer. Evangel was an exceptional tour host. Delicious food. Loved the stories behind each establishment. I followed the rules and came hungry, however I was grateful for the bag given at the front end of the tour for doggy bags. I enjoyed tasty food the next day. This is my first culinary tour however it won't be my last. Thank you for a very special event!See more..

Rafting on a wilderness River was a bucket list item for me. Rafting with ASV on the Middle Fork of the Salmon river exceeded my expectations many times over. Brad, Diana, and the rest of the crew made the whole experience a pleasure. Working with Diana to make the arrangements was a breeze, even though our group grew from 2 to 6, just days before departing. On the river the rafting was exciting, and the scenery unbelievably beautiful. The Pampered Camping was awesome. The food prepared by the guides, was excellent. Three hot meals a day, plus appetizers. Tents with cots sleeping bags and pillows were set up when we arrived at camp each night. And, a big circle of camp chairs for games and conversation (Brad is a great story teller). I hope to do this again, and when I do I will go with Adventure Sun Valley.See more..
5.0Salmon Raft(170 reviews) - Salmon Raft Forever!! Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Boat Tours
We just completed our 3rd trip with this amazing company and their incredible guides. Salmon Raft is truly world class and we are customers for life. They spare no detail when putting together these trips - my group of friends just did a fabulous four day trip on the lower Salmon and then through Hells Canyon— it was gorgeous, fun, equal parts peaceful and splashy. Lauren and Chris were accommodating for all sorts of dietary preferences, rafting experience, and have been so flexible with our group over the years as needs change and challenges arise (hello pandemic). Every guide puts their heart and soul into giving us the best trip possible, teaching us the ways of the river, keeping us fed with delicious and fresh food, and so much more. Can’t say enough about the beautiful people at Salmon Raft and am looking forward to our next adventure!See more..

5.0Wilderness River Outfitters(139 reviews) - Middle Fork of the Salmon Rafting Trip - Frank Church - River of No Return Wilderness Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Water Sports
We had wanted to raft the Middle Fork of the Salmon since 2015, when it was recommended to us by a guide who led our trip through the Grand Canyon on the CO river. After researching lots of outfitters, we opted for WRO, who promised a great trip and a gluten free menu for Joe, who has celiac disease. Our expectations were far exceeded! The guides were so skilled, very personable and really knowledgeable about the river, the Frank Church Wilderness and lots of other interesting things. The rapids were frequent, often huge and always exciting. The views, hikes and waterfalls were beautiful. The food was delicious, abundant and almost entirely safe for Joe… and they were diligent in telling him when it wasn’t. The guides’ expertise in rafting the river and in cooking over an open fire were top notch. Thanks so much to Will, Jonas, Dove, Nyima, Carly, Sarah and Addy. You ran a really fun and awesome trip… and I hope I spelled all your names correctly. We’ll be recommending WRO for years. See more..
So many people live here and fall in love with Boise because of the ease of access to the outdoors. My wife and I are lucky enough to live 100 feet from a trail access point and we find ourselves out on the trails several days per week. This is definitely one of the highlights of Boise and as the city expands I hope the area continues to be protected from over development. It would be a shame to lose this wonderful resource.See more..

We are definitely pleased that we chose to climb with Sawtooth Mountain Guides!See more..
5.0Lava Zipline(129 reviews) - Zipline is a must do! Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks
It was a blast! The ride out in the back of the Army truck was fun but bumpy and not too comfortable. Otherwise it more than met my expectations. Milan has a great sense of humor and adds to the experience with his comments and encouragement. He relates well to all ages. The entire layout from Zip lines to other agility activities was nice and well thought out. The place is a work in progress. I will return in a few years to see what they’ve added. Trazan, King Kong and Shelly Boo ( the staff) were very helpful and added positively to the entire experience. Mountain life is cool. If only for a week at time for us tourists. And Zippy the hound dog as a greeter. Nice touch.See more..

Awol is such a professionally run company!! From the first email to sign waivers to courtesy follow up to confirm reservation, to the day of reservation call because of the inclement weather to see if we still wanted to partake in the activity. Also the call for directions when we were supposed to already be there. They we friendly, accommodating and patient with us. It was such a fun time!! Well planned out and everything was explained and prepared for us. The guides Noah and Macy were so fun and informative and took care of everything. They were laid back and funny, and happy to answer questions and talk and work with you. The zip lines were just a perfect amount of challenging with still being fun. They stopped for photo opts and even took picture for and with everyone. I would highly recommend this company and activitySee more..

5.0Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes(119 reviews) - Beautiful well maintained bike trail Spent More than 3 hours Biking Trails
We didn't start in Plummer -- rather we went to Harrison, where we rented bikes at the Cycle Haus (which has, believe it or not, good coffee/tea, beer, and a restaurant along with a good bike rental facility. We (family of 5) took a morning ride toward Plummer, turning around at Heyborn State Park so we could get back to the Cycle Haus for lunch. For some members of our family, that 20 miles (including a fun railroad bridge over the lake) was enough. Dad soldiered on with an afternoon ride toward Medimont along the river and next to lakes with beautiful scenery. About 40 miles total, which was an easy ride on this very flat trail. This is the nicest bike trail I've been on in terms of road surface quality (smooth paved asphalt) and facilities (bathrooms provided at frequent points along the way). Definitely worth the drive down from Coeur d'Alene if you're staying there.See more..

5.0Middle Fork River Tours(109 reviews) - Prepare to be "mystified!" River Rafting & Tubing • Fishing Charters & Tours
There are literally no words for how amazing our trip on the Middle Fork was. Middle Fork River Tours poured so much time and effort into spoiling us in every way and left our family with so many amazing memories. Our guides were Lorraine, Annika, Sam, Danny, Cory, Jon and Piper and each guide went out of there way to ensure my family had an amazing week. Of course the experience, camp, activities and food were excellent but they also found personal ways to lavish attention on our family as well. For example: My 17 year old son wants to be a river guide and after the guides learned this they spent SO much time with him "teaching him some of the ropes" and he LOVED it! My son literally told me the week was life changing for him..... The MFRT team feels like a family and I found their team dynamics and how the treated us heartwarming. We will be back for sure!See more..
5.0Tied To Nature(108 reviews) - Touring with an expert Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Eco Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Private Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Photography Tours
We aren't the people who normally hire a house but we wanted to see wildlife and knew that hiring someone who was familiar with what to see and where to go was our ticket to a great experience. From the minute Adam met us, he began teaching us about the geology, biological diversity, and wildlife found in the park. We learned so much and saw so much. He knew where to go and when to be there. Our highlights were hearing the wolves howl and seeing the bear and her cub. Not to mention the bison, pronghorn, coyote, pika, pine martin, and various birds. We had a wonderful day and took his suggestions on how to spend the following day. It all added up to an extra special Yellowstone visit. One we will never forget.See more..
5.0Hammer Down River Excursions(106 reviews) - Awesome trip up Hells Canyon Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Fishing Charters & Tours
We hired them to take our family up the river for a day trip and to fish sturgeon. Most amazing canyon. We saw Mountain Big Horn sheep, bald eagles, mountain goats, and caught a huge sturgeon. That was an amazing experience. Our captain was amazing handling the boat and running the rougher parts of the river. We loved our day and the time with family.See more..
