2 Star Places To Visit in Alabama, United States (11)
2.5Auburn Links at Mill Creek(13 reviews) - "Give us a second chance" Golf Courses My name is Fred Holton and I am the PGA Head Professional at Auburn Links. I would challenge all the bad reviews to try the course now. Yes we had our issues early on due to a severe winter but our greens have recovered nicely. I will never make excuses for the facility that I work at and our staff will always treat you with great customer service. I believe for the rates we charge our course compares with any in the area. I know everyone is entitled to their opinion so I decided to post mine.See more..
Rented a boat and PRE PAID for an 8 hour day, 1pm to 9pm. We get to the marina at 12 to be told we had it have the boat back by 7. Was not issued a partial refund. Owner put us in a different boat than we reserved, then charged us an additional $140. Looking at bank statements and he charged us twice for $140. He won't answer the phone. Guess we'll have to call the bank and dispute the charges See more..

This week I took my granddaughters, mother and step father to visit a place often visited by me as a child. It isn’t but about 25 miles from my Mom’s home. We haven’t been there in years but remembered it being run down the last time I was there about 22 years ago. What a pleasant surprise. The county now runs the park and has done a wonderful job cleaning it up and maintaining it. The springs now have a hand pump attached to them. The picnic pavilions are clean and very nice. There are nice playgrounds for children, very clean restrooms, nicely maintained grass, and a nice little campground. What a wonderful thing that Choctaw County has done! Thanks for keeping it open and bringing back memories from years ago. Such a quiet place and very well worth a visit! I will be going back again. Also, the historic church is beautiful! So are the historic homes around the historic district! Beautiful!See more..
2.5Bryant Vineyard(4 reviews) - Room for improvement in the space but excellent wine Wineries & Vineyards I'm glad we read both previous reviews and decided to go ahead and make the visit. GPS may misdirect you at the last minute so look for the sign! There are dead vines at the entrance, and it does look like and apparently is a residence when you arrive at the end of the drive. Mildew seems to be a problem; unfortunately the smell does interfere a bit with the tasting. The bathroom was dirty. However, there has been some effort made in the basement tasting room to make it a pretty environment, and our host was personable and knowledgeable about his family's award winning muscadine wines and unique grapes. We happily bought the three wine varieties he had available, and chalked the whole experience up to a great Alabama adventure!See more..
It was on our way to The Wall and was pleasant to drive through. Be sure to see the native American wall, located in the area. It is worth the trip. See more..
We recently relocated to Selma. This establishment is just another amazing, positive part of our new experience in this community. The staff were so very helpful. We had a great time finding many items for our “new” historic homes. (My brother, sister and myself) We found furniture, artwork, China, crystal, silver, linens and many unique finds!! What a great time we had finding all our new “treasures.” June Bugg’s is a great asset to the area. We met people from near and far that travel to Selma to shop here and many other places. Thanks so much for being another great welcome to this Very special town.See more..

2.0AJ's Sunset Bar & Grill(1 review) - Small town local's bar, and not a very good one. Bars & Clubs I really don't know how it's still there. Don't go expecting a nice bar. Nice people usually, just nothing more than a redneck bar. See more..
