5.0Crescent Theater(164 reviews) - Outstanding Owner Of A Marvelous Theater Saturday: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM Theaters
We were visiting Mobile for the first time while attending a convention. Before going we had looked at things to do in Mobile and noted the high reviews the Crescent Theater had. On the first day we were there, during some free time, we went walking around the downtown area. We encountered the Crescent Theater and noticed it was showing a movie we wanted to see. Not having the time to see it then, we returned to our hotel. Later in the week we had an afternoon free and made a beeline to the theater. While we were expecting a quaint theater, we had not expected the delightful owner who sold us the tickets and then chatted with us for quite a while. He alone was worth the price of admission. Needless to say we also enjoyed the show I expect to be back in Mobile in June 2023 and will definitely go see whatever is showing. I only regret that there is not an equivalent place near my homeSee more..
My first time there was for the Fantasia concert. Was surprised at the facilities, also impressed with the police was handling traffic, free parking and speed that staff entered peoples through the gates. No bad seats as there are two screens on each side of the stage. I actually like sitting in what was called the balcony as those closer to the front of the stage tend to stand and block other views. Planning on attending another concert next month.See more..

Southern Broadway Dinner Theater is a jewel in south Alabama’s Wiregrass region. The productions are held throughout the year in the beautiful historic Hildreth Brothers building, a unique venue with special charm. The menus are superb; every meal a perfect accompaniment to the production and outstandingly presented in a friendly family style. The original shows range from historical drama to up-beat musicals plus everything in between, featuring fine talent from the local area and beyond. Dinner and a show with Southern Broadway is definitely an evening worth experiencing!See more..

3.0AMC Florence 12(35 reviews) - Good Movie Theater! Movie Theaters
This movie theater was recently purchased by AMC and renamed AMC Florence 12. The theater was originally built about 13 years ago by Carmike Cinemas. This movie theater features 3D and digital movies on large digital screens. It also offers stadium seating. AMC Florence 12 has been recently remodeled. They have the self serve drink machines now whereas the guests make their own drinks instead of the employees. My only problem with this is that after standing in line to purchase tickets, candy, and popcorn; you must stand in line again to pour your drink. This theater serves pizza, as well and also features the self serve butter stations for popcorn. AMC Florence 12 could be a little cleaner (like most theaters) but overall it is a good theater. Do yourself a favor and join the free AMC Stubs program to receive special offers such as $2 off tickets on Tuesdays and free refills on large popcorn. See more..

5.0Blue Moon Farm(12 reviews) - This Place is a Musical Gem Theaters • Farms
Right down the road from Orange Beach, AL you can find the most wonderful setting for music. It's a working farm where Cathe has made the time & effort to build a stage & provide a place for local & regional musical artists to play their songs. It's a small community type of situation - BYOB, BYOChair, bring a dish to share with others, make a donation to pay the artists & enjoy the music. Kids are welcome. It's a 'house party' set on the farm. Barbara & I caught a folk/Americana/blues set last weekend & enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! A lovely experience... cannot wait for the next show! (PLEASE NOTE - this is a working farm that has animals. If you are driving a BMW & are worried about parking in a pasture, or concerned about your Gucci shoes being soiled, please do not come here & then trash Blue Moon Farm on Trip Advisor. It is a farm.)See more..
5.0Whole Backstage Theatre(12 reviews) - Plays are great Saturday: Theaters Marshall County’s only community theatre. Located in downtown Guntersville. Presents four shows every season, including a summer musical in June/July.See more..
This place has great prices on movies, but they need a better price on snacks. We've been going here for years and have never bought popcorn, drinks, or snacks. We watch a movie than go out to eat afterwards for half the price. This theatre needs a fresher an newer look. It looked almost the same as it looked 20 years ago. I can't remember much of a remodel or a change besides cosmetic ones in that time. If it has, I just missed it, but I will still continue to go here to watch the hot new movies. We might go to watch more films if there was a fresher new look with better snack prices. See more..

3.5Carmike Patton Creek 15(7 reviews) - Comfortable, roomy seating. Spent 2-3 hours Movie Theaters My children and I like seeing the Disney's movies, so we've gone to the newly acquired AMC location to see Incredibles 2 and Ant Man and Wasp. The first was on the Saturday that I2 opened and although the theatre was busy, as should be expected, we had no problems checking in, getting to the assigned auditorium and finding seats. Pop-corn was fresh and did not last long. Our most recent visit this month was on a weekday. The place was practically empty and we were able to get served and had our choice of seats in the auditorium. Location is incredibly conveniently near two interstates and US highway and state highway.See more..

3.0Premiere Cinema 14(6 reviews) - Great Time At Movies! Spent 1-2 hours Movie Theaters There was nice staff, okay prices, clean theatre- enjoyable. My only complaint is that it is maybe a bit too expensive and some of the ads are inappropriate. Otherwise, it's good. Recommended!See more..

4.5Sand Mountain Drive-In(5 reviews) - Great Family entertainment Saturday: 6:30 PM - 1:00 AM Spent 2-3 hours Movie Theaters
We've been going to Sand Mountain drive in for years. They've always had up to date movies and have never had a technical problem. The snack bar is decent, and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is generally family oriented, and we've never encountered anyone that was rude or obnoxious. Without a doubt, its the cheapest way to see a movie if you have two or more people!See more..
4.5AmStar 12 - Oxford(5 reviews) - Great stop Movie Theaters We watched the new Jurassic Park movie. They sure had the sound turned up. Kinda loud for me. The place was packed. The snack and drink prices are ridiculous. They cost more than the tickets to get in. It’s a nice place other than that. See more..
Met with the owner and his son personally which was cool. A new owner, trying to build the business. A stage, nice music with an intimate atmosphere. We went to a concert and believe it or not to Big Time Professional Wrestling on another evening ( wifes says it's fake) LOL. We just retired and I don't think I have ever seen her enjoy herself like she did this evening and I'm telling you I thought she might be mad at me for taking her. She had never been and it was a darn hoot and a half, lot's of fun and the price was right. He also did an oldies concert, had an Elvis impersonator there another evening. A Valentines dance and dinner. This gentlemen is doing his best to build this place and I hope he succeeds. He has a great venue, food is great. They did a corn hole tourney inside also while we were down there. Get on his e-mail, give some different things a shot and support this gentleman, He is trying to offer great family entertainment. I hope he does well.See more..

5.0We Piddle Around Theater(4 reviews) - Great fun! Theaters My mother-in-law introduced us to the Piddle Around Theater a couple years ago; her church group goes most every year. Tickets sell out quick, so you have to be on the ball to get them, but it is so worth it. Delicious food is served at big tables, then when you're done, a group of talented folks put on quite the show- songs, stories, poems - all from 'back in the good old days'. Many of the folks there are of an age to actually remember some of the things they talk about- but folks of any age should see this show; besides being fed good and entertained, it makes you want to go home and talk to your older family members and collect their memories. thank ya'll for doing such a wonderful thing!See more..

4.5Ritz Theatre(3 reviews) - Great Historic Art Deco Theatre Theaters
The Ritz has excellent shows in a landmark historic Art Deco theatre. It may be the best surviving example in the US of a Vitrolite glass facade from the 1930's. The theatre has recently completed a renovation with new seats and is upgrading their sound system to a new state-of-the-art line array system. They regularly have performances by the Black Jacket Symphony and other nationally-recognized groups. It is a gem for a small town and should be enjoyed.See more..
Sep 8 , 2017 my husband and I saw Clint Black at this lovely old theater. It was originally built back in the 30's. The sound was great and the staff is very helpful and courteous. They have a nice bar area that serves drinks and light snacks. We had tickets for center balcony front row, usually some of the best seats in the house; however if you are short (I am 5' 2) you can not see over the ledge in front of you it was so disappointing. The lady that seated us bent down and whispered in my ear that the balcony was not sold out and when the concert started we might want to move to a vacnt seat behind us. Thats exactly what we did and enjoyed a wonderful concert with Clint Black and his band. If you are in Tuscaloosa be sure to see what attractions are at this grand old Theater. A must see.See more..
