3.5 (7 reviews) Spent 2-3 hours Ranking #2 in Hoover Movie Theaters

Comfortable, roomy seating.

My children and I like seeing the Disney's movies, so we've gone to the newly acquired AMC location to see Incredibles 2 and Ant Man and Wasp. The first was on the Saturday that I2 opened and although the theatre was busy, as should be expected, we had no problems checking in, getting to the assigned auditorium and finding seats. Pop-corn was fresh and did not last long. Our most recent visit this month was on a weekday. The place was practically empty and we were able to get served and had our choice of seats in the auditorium. Location is incredibly conveniently near two interstates and US highway and state highway.

Understaffed. Dirty. Loud. Disorganized. Slow. Lines. Rainy Saturday. Several new kid movies out including Incredibles2. As far as we could see there were four very undertrained and disorganized teens working the concessions. The wait was nearly an hour. We watched them pour returned popcorn back into the popcorn machine—-NASTY! They had no cartons and kept going to the back to get ones and twos. No adult supervision in sight. Anytime someone appeared the the Stubs line (member or not) they dropped their current customers to wait on them. INSIDER TIP—->just get in the stubs elite line and you’ll be served 1st. In the theater, people were on their phones and talking. No one monitoring. Won’t go back. Waste of money. Went to another theater the following week with a completely different experience. Saw one person claim it’s the movie hangout place to go...I guess if you’re 14 years old...otherwise. No!
