This place is huge and fantastic!! We passed by when we drove to Auburn. My husband and I were surprised at the large number of stalls. It even has a new annex. There are great antiques as well as new items. We picked up things for us and already bought some gifts for Christmas! The people at the checkout were very nice and said they were also open for July 4th! We’re already talking about visiting the store the next time we are in the area! See more..

This building is a treasure in and of itself. But once you get inside, there are perhaps a hundred or more consignment booths full of antiques and collectibles. 6. 4.0 Gardendale Flea Mall & Antique Center (21 reviews)
    - Neatly Arranged - New and Used Under One Roof
Spent 1-2 hours Speciality & Gift Shops • Antique Shops • Flea & Street Markets
Gardendale Flea Mall & Antique Center image
I just had to stop at this location to browse and appreciate what this flea market had to offer. What did it have to offer? Plenty! I was not necessarily going to buy anything but I had already made up my mind that if anything "catches my attention" and the price is right, I'm buying; and I bought a few things I was glad to purchase. The overall facility is actually under one large, enclosed building and not scattered about like you would find by comparison to other flea markets. Also, the booths were displayed very neatly with items ranging from new to gently worn. I appreciated the fact that no one pressured me into buying anything thereby giving me lots of freedom to ponder longer and deciding to buy or not. For anyone who love thrifty items that are clean, neat and new, this is a fantastic place to browse and see what you can find. If I'm in that area in the future, I probably will stop and see what else would be offered for sale. See more..

LOVE this place. I got a gorgeous lamp that I was able to check out and see if it worked in our space before they ran my card. Olde Walker Drug Store Antique Mall image
Driving from Ohio to Texas, we were antiquing, pulling a uhaul. The temperature was frigid in every town we stopped by. The manager was there, a dealer and the onsite cashier. The deals were great, the people went out of their way to help us. The dealer even helped carry our ton of items out to the uhaul. As if their generosity wasn't enough, They all proceeded to find blankets to help cover the furniture up. This was the best antique mall we visited across the country, hands down!! Thank you so much for everything!! See more..

  24. 4.0 White Elephant Antiques Gallery (5 reviews)
    - It's back--reopened in a location behind the old restaurant!
    Antique Shops
I was heartbroken to hear about the fire that destroyed the White Elephant and the Mentone Springs Hotel. I have memories going back at least 35 years of visiting that wonderful antiques store, so when we went back to Mentone this year, I wasn't expecting much from the new location. First of all, it's so much smaller, but that's the only "negative" thing that I can say. They are located on the road behind the Mentone Springs Hotel. The day that we were there the previous manager of the hotel was there, and we had a great talk. I loved shopping there, and the prices and selection were really great. Once again I made a connection in Mentone and have beautiful pieces with memories attached! See more..

We recently relocated to Selma. This establishment is just another amazing, positive part of our new experience in this community. The staff were so very helpful. We had a great time finding many items for our “new” historic homes. (My brother, sister and myself) We found furniture, artwork, China, crystal, silver, linens and many unique finds!! What a great time we had finding all our new “treasures.” June Bugg’s is a great asset to the area. We met people from near and far that travel to Selma to shop here and many other places. Apparently they are new owners. Have some very nice stuff that seems fairly priced. Decent antiques for sure. Seems like they are doing all the right things. It was clean, organized. Owners were friendly, and vendors inside were organized. Higher end stuff than most flea markets, but some very very nice items inside. Wish them all the success in the world. Also the Front Porch across the street serves a very fresh burger so if your looking for about an hour or two these two places can help each other. Was a lot of fun, will go back next year and we are snowbirds. See more..

    Perdido Beach Trading Co. image
I absolutely loved this place. This was like a treasure hunt and we actually walked through it twice to make sure we didn't miss anything. The man working there was so nice and friendly and we really enjoyed talking with him. There is also a lot to see outside (including rusty gold if that is your thing). I really loved the wood sculpture outside but it was too big to put in our car. I spent a lot of time playing with the kitten inside. It followed me around inside and was fixated on my camera strap. It even climbed up me to get to it. There is no word to describe how adorable he/she was. Some areas were a bit jumbled but that didn't stop me this time because I was enjoying the thrill of the hunt. You can find americana, collectibles, handmade items, furniture, rusty gold, primitive, tools, metal signs, pottery, music, glass, unique items and so much more. See more..

The 2 ladies at the front were so nice. You will find some antiques here but what I mostly saw were new items. They had some of the most amazing glass art pieces and if I had a place for them I would have gotten one. There is also a lot of local art/craft as well as furniture, tools. lamps, beachy items, textiles, kitchenware, and more. The place was well organized and easy to get around. Gift Horse Antique Stalls image
My husband and I both look for small collectibles (whimsical and shabby chic) and this place really different offer anything like that. They did offer furniture, other types of collectibles, kitchenware, glassware, ceramics, pottery, art and things along that line. It was well organized and clean. Even though they had some nice items there wasn't anything of interest to us. If you are in the area it would be worth a stop anyway. I found it strange that there was no one at the front desk when we entered or when we left. See more..
  41. 4.0 Shepherd’s Cove Thrift Shoppe (1 review)
    - Thankful for finding this bargain hunter's gem
Spent 1-2 hours Speciality & Gift Shops • Antique Shops
Shepherd's Cove supports Hospice by offering a vast variety of donated merchandise at very reasonable prices. When we visited, all books were reduced to 25 cents each; CD's are $1 each; clothes are very clean and freshly washed. Furniture and kitchenware were very reasonable, although selections can vary since nothing is kept on hand as stock items. Displays are neat and spacious with very good lighting. For treasure-hunting folks, Shepherd's Cove is a high end option to beat inflation and find unique assortments of things, including some legitimate antiques. See more..

    - Great Antique Store in Uniquely Southern Locale!
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Antique Shops
A great Sunday afternoon visit to Brittany House Antiques, nestled in the charming community of Oak Hill, Alabama! A beautiful backroads road trip brought us to Brittany House from nearby Monroeville. This place has an amazing selection of antique furniture, silver, porcelain and more! Lance, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and well connected in the region. Sells all over the world. While we visited on a Sunday afternoon, several other visitors came in. This is a great destination in the rural south. While in the area, continue on to nearby Camden, Selma and Monroeville! We spent over an hour exploring the store and adjancent barn, both packed with beautiful furniture and accessories, and reasonably priced at high quality. If you are looking for special and unique pieces, this is your place! Also has a nice selection of antique lamps and exquisite chandliers, antique clocks, books on southern history and culture, artwork and more! See more..

Even though this place did not have my type of collectibles (whimsical, shabby chic) it still had some nice items and I enjoyed looking at what they had. This building used to be the Silverhill Motor Company and Anderson Garage before it became the antique store. It was an amazing old building. The main aisles were wide and clear and the booths were well organized and I didn't see any clutter at all. 46. 5.0 Social Butterfly Marketplace (1 review)
    - Very quaint! Eclectic mix of local artisan works, antiques and a craft/ spa area!
    Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Spent < 1 hour Antique Shops
Located in the heart of downtown Demopolis, this store is truly a "marketplace"! Sectioned-off areas were sponsored by various local artisans (pottery, paintings, crafts, quaint works, goat milk soap, honey...) and fashion and antique sellers. Like our general experience of Demopolis, the managers of this store couldn't have been nicer and more welcoming, friendly without hovering! We saw lots that we would have loved to bring home- but it just couldn't fit into our airline luggage... bummer! While we were there, a group of little girls were also having a great time at "spa day" in a group room. Really interesting place to visit! See more..

This place is in Old Town Daphne and I loved the little town. Even though the place did not have the type of stuff we collect, what it did have was very nice and we enjoyed looking around. They have antiques, gifts, furniture, garden items, china, lighting, pottery and more. The lady working there was so nice. She started telling us all about their mardi gras celebrations and told us the best time to come if we were interested. It sounded like it would be more our speed there than the ones in Mobile (which would be crazy because they had already started celebrating 2 days early). Unfortunately we couldn't make it back to Daphne so we missed mardi gras. See more..
