These falls were so nice and pretty to look at. The rocky area is a little hard to navigate, but that can be expected. The stairway leading towards the falls has some nice colored glass affixed to each step, which adds a bit of eclectic art. There are some picnic tables about which were in use by families. There are also some hiking trails that you can get lost in for a short period of time. Overall, a pretty waterfall. See more..

Enjoyed taking an afternoon hike around the boulders and to the waterfall. The trails aren't well marked. You can explore in your own. The trails are rocky and have exposed tree roots. My dog and I were able to navigate them. See more..

This review is for Hippie Hole or Marthas Falls. This is roughly a mile hike from the back of the Little River Canyon parking lot. It’s a beautiful hike and I would rate it moderate. Can get busy with swimmers but it wasn’t crowded when we went. This trail is definitely worth the hike. See more..

    - Amazing
Spent More than 3 hours Waterfalls

Stopped here and fell in love, just amazing! It’s about 25 minutes from interstate and we had no problems finding it. There was a small parking lot and visitors center(closed due to Covid). It’s a short 5 minute walk to the falls. You can walk right to edge, the were people jumping off while we were there, don’t miss this beautiful gem! See more..
  6. 4.0 Pisgah Gorge Falls (9 reviews)
    - What a hidden gem
    Spent < 1 hour Waterfalls

Had to ask for directions at the local gas station. Put "gorge" in the GPS maps and it took us past the cemetery and out to the ball fields. Found a sign that said "Gorge Parking". We hiked the 1/4 mile past the gate and down the road, past the Civilian building and there is a nice viewing point. A trail goes off to the right that leads to a rock bluff where you can see the 2nd waterfall. Great place to see the waterfall but is very rustic. 600 feet of waterfall spread over 1.5 miles - both waterfalls are close to 100 feet tall. We were fortunate to be here after several days of heavy rain - a beauty. See more..
  7. North Alabama Waterfall Trail (0 review)
    Waterfalls
Thanks to the flowing waters of the Tennessee River, North Alabama boasts the most beautiful waterfalls on either side of the Appalachians. Alabama is known as the Land of a Thousand Waterfalls, and North Alabama is blessed to be home to many of those. These stunning falls are surrounded by nature to hike, spots to photograph, and, in some cases, wineries to relax. Our waterfalls are close enough to each other that you can visit several in a day and experience them all in a long weekend. See more..
