We stopped at Blalock several times on our trip to Orange Beach. Their seafood is unbeatable and so fresh! They also have impeccable customer service. On our last visit, I asked if they had any more of the delicious looking caramel cakes and cupcakes I’d seen the time before. The young man who was helping us asked the manager and he came out to greet us. He then offered to see if he could get one for us from his wife, who was the baker. He ended up arranging for us to pick up a caramel cake for our New Year’s celebration the next morning. We were so grateful for their impeccable service and kindness. This place is amazing and every single employee I had contact with was happy and helpful and would go above and beyond to make sure you had everything you need. The bathrooms are the cleanest I’ve seen at any gas station!! I don’t know how many gas pumps they have but they go on forever and cars were lined up for them. The line of cars is the only negative I have. There were so many cars in line all the way to the main road and you could not get around them if you wanted to just go in the store. We had to stay in the line for quite some time to get around to the store. I am not sure if there was another entrance/exit but the first one closest to interstate was blocked coming and going and made it difficult to maneuver around.See more..

While we didn’t purchase vegetables or flowers there were a handful of producers selling those items and what we saw was beautiful. I just had to stop at this location to browse and appreciate what this flea market had to offer. What did it have to offer? Plenty! The overall facility is actually under one large, enclosed building and not scattered about like you would find by comparison to other flea markets. Also, the booths were displayed very neatly with items ranging from new to gently worn. I appreciated the fact that no one pressured me into buying anything thereby giving me lots of freedom to ponder longer and deciding to buy or not. For anyone who love thrifty items that are clean, neat and new, this is a fantastic place to browse and see what you can find. Ferguson’s was the second florist I called in the Gadsden area the day of a local viewing in Attalla. With very little time they did a beautiful green & white arrangement, as I requested, got all 5 names on the card correct and delivered it to the funeral home. Living in Colorado, and ordering by phone, I have been disappointed so many times with $100 worth of flowers. But Ferguson’s did such a nice job and the lady who took my order was so kind and even texted me a photo of the arrangement. Do not hesitate to have them send flowers for you!
