I was part of a group lesson that taught kayaking basics. Phil, the instructor, did an excellent class, addressing the needs of the different students in the group. The initial lesson was started on land with Phil transitioning into the water before incorporating all parts of the lesson in the water. Several of us have kayaked before but we all learned so much in this class. After another group outing today ( not with the instructor) we are all amazed at how much we have benefited from the lesson. Looking forward to the bat caves trip in the future.See more..

This was a lot of fun. It was a very peaceful and relaxing way to spend a Sunday. This portion of the trail was a little over 8 miles round trip. You can find maps for the Bartram Canoe trails on the ADCNR website. I tried to link the website here, but TripAdvisor flagged it as 'promotional material.'
