Excellent Kayak lessons and rental
I was part of a group lesson that taught kayaking basics. Phil, the instructor, did an excellent class, addressing the needs of the different students in the group. The initial lesson was started on land with Phil transitioning into the water before incorporating all parts of the lesson in the water. Several of us have kayaked before but we all learned so much in this class. After another group outing today ( not with the instructor) we are all amazed at how much we have benefited from the lesson. Looking forward to the bat caves trip in the future.

Kayak Trip to Hambrick Bat Cave
Wet set out onto the water at 6 pm to visit the Hambrick Bat Cave. The guides were helpful in providing a few lessons in how to paddle efficiently even though this wasn't a class. At dusk, we watched thousands of grey bats exit the cave! We returned to the marina under a starry, starry night.

Fun and instructional at the same time.
Just got done paddling around with UnPhiltered Kayaking on Lake Guntersville. Phil Walton was our knowledgeable instructor both on the water and off in the shoreline classroom. For anyone wanting to learn how or get advanced instructions Phil is the one to go with.
