My wife and I have been here several times before. The food has always been good and they didn’t disappoint tonight. We shared the Mexican Garbage appetizer and the blackened grouper dinner. The appetizer was great. It was more than enough for two people. The blackened flounder was wonderful. They spiced it just right. Not too much cayenne to overwhelm the filet. The flounder was fresh as was the side of green beans. The only little drawbacks were the margarita my wife ordered. It was okay but they were somewhat light on the tequila. We also had to wait 10-15 minutes after seating for the waiter to appear. Overall, a very good experience. Even with the observation deck closed for repairs, the view outside was spectacular. We went on a Sunday around 11:30, and there was no wait. You’re not going here for the food, but I had the bbq nachos, and my friend had the bbq sandwich. They were both good and were the only food items our server could actually recommend. There was live music, which was pleasant but nothing to write home about. Found this brewery while visiting Huntsville. Was my second favorite brewery overall but they had one of my top 2 beers on I had on the trip. Candybar pinestripe was amazing! Got some to go as well. Great place to unwind and have a beer, you should try the Kentucky Bourbon beer. Overall, it is a bar that’s it. No food. If you are looking for food, try Micks that is only 2 doors down. The only suggestion I have is that the bartenders could be more like...bartenders. They don’t talk a lot and just pour beer. I guess they are doing their jobs but don’t expect a lot of conversation. I guess if you are just going to serve beer and all you have is a bar, you want bartenders that keep the customers in the chair. Don’t expect that here. But, the beer is awesome.See more..

For entrees, we had the chicken fried steak, chicken hand pie, pork chop and meat loaf. All entrees were exceptional , and their sides, except for the chop. Not sure what happened to it but it wasn’t very tasteful and had a charred taste instead of grilled. Still, 3 out of 4 and great sides is a good showing. Just mind what you order. Hubby and I stopped by this evening and enjoyed a glass of Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale from the tap room and came home with a six pack of Westbrook Gose (sour, salty & delicious!) as well as a mixed six pack of craft beers. I was very impressed with the selection and glad that so many beers were available for purchase by the single bottle. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The owner was particularly helpful in deciphering a specific beer that my husband had been looking for but had forgotten the name. I enjoyed the clean and casual style of the tap room and the layout made browsing the many available beers a breeze. We will definitely be going back to try out other new-to-us beers. We may even take advantage of the home brewing supplies that are available for purchase and try making our own batch. All in all a very enjoyable experience!See more..

This place was really decked out for St Paddy's Day. A lot of time must have been spent on decorating the bar. There were banners, ribbons, hanging decorations. green bowler hats, etc. The young ladies, behind the bar were friendly, and very efficient,advising me of any specials of the day. The "Happy Hour" offered draft beer for $2.00, and the food special was Philly cheese steak. To-day, being Wednesday, had live music, and free pool. I opted for the Philly steak, and when it arrived, it could easily feed two people. The steak, and cheese was served on a hoagie bun, with curly fries. 1.0Midnight Special(1 review) - Shady Place Bars & Clubs My husband closed his tab at this bar but forgot to pick up his debit card off the counter. When we went back the next day to see if it was there, they handed it to him with a receipt for $5. He asked what it was for and they said they figured since he left his card there he must not care about it and would cancel it and they wouldn't get paid. So they charged his card $5 without his consent or his signature. They said they do this ALL THE TIME. Isn't that illegal?! Obviously if he went back to get it, he cares about it. If he went back to get it, it wasn't canceled. He asked them to give him 2 beers for the $5 and they refused. They told him he shouldn't have forgotten his card on the counter. ??? The bartenders are nice and very competent. The security team is very watchful.
