Good dinner for our first night at the beach
My wife and I have been here several times before. The food has always been good and they didn’t disappoint tonight. We shared the Mexican Garbage appetizer and the blackened grouper dinner. The appetizer was great. It was more than enough for two people. The blackened flounder was wonderful. They spiced it just right. Not too much cayenne to overwhelm the filet. The flounder was fresh as was the side of green beans. The only little drawbacks were the margarita my wife ordered. It was okay but they were somewhat light on the tequila. We also had to wait 10-15 minutes after seating for the waiter to appear. Overall, a very good experience. Even with the observation deck closed for repairs, the view outside was spectacular.

Great Setting with Good Food
We were here on a rainy day so not able to enjoy sitting outside watching life go by on the water. There is plenty of outdoor seating for this. We ate inside and every other table was not being used for social distancing. The wait staff was all wearing masks but since our table had view of the kitchen, I saw that one cook was wearing something like dive gear on his face but the shoulder length hair was not contained. The other man with breadlocks to his rear, did not have them in containment and had his face mask around his neck. The menu we were given was put right back into the menu holder without being sanitized. In regards to the food, it was delicious and the server was extremely accommodating. Such good blackened fish and chicken. The menu is pretty heavy on deep fried foods but you can always get the fish or seafood blackened or grilled.

So so...
Went late afternoon on a sunny, breezy day. Ate outside and great water view watching boats go by. So ambience is great. Service was great too. Food, so so. Husband ordered fried green tomatoes as appetizer. We ate most of them, mostly because we were hungry, but they were not good. Hard. I liked that they were cut into chunks, until you bit into them and so hard they had a crunch to them. Server brought our main entrees: grouper sandwich/fries and fish tacos. Both were good but not great, especially when you pay 17$ for grouper sandwich. She asked if we didn’t like the fried green tomatoes, since she noticed we did not eat all of them. Told her no, they were hard. She brought us another order, which we did not ask for. I tried ONE:Hard. So we did not eat anymore. Yes, we were still charged for them. Tacky! ?
